  • Publication number: 20260061223
Abstract: Methods and systems of radiosurgical treatment include rotating one or both of a first gantry component and a second gantry component while transmitting a therapeutic treatment beam so as to deliver a therapeutic radiation dose to a target tissue of a patient from one or more arcs extending along a treatment sphere. The first gantry component is rotatable about a first axis and a second gantry component is interfaced with the first gantry component such that rotation of the first gantry component rotates both the first and second gantry components about the first axis. The second gantry component is independently rotatable about a second axis. The method includes coordinating movement of the first and second gantry components along the respective first and second axes so as to allow a trajectory of the therapeutic treatment beam to intersect the target tissue from multiple directions along the treatment sphere.

  • Publication number: 20260029939
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and computer program product for managing permissions for processing input/output (I/O) operations in a storage system is disclosed that includes a plurality of storage system controllers and a plurality of storage devices. The method comprises determining that a permission associated with a storage system controller for issuing I/O operations to the storage devices should be invalidated and, in response to the determination, modifying at least one I/O capability of the storage system controller.

  • Publication number: 20250152115
Abstract: A self-shielded and computer controlled system for performing non-invasive stereotactic radiosurgery and precision radiotherapy using a linear accelerator mounted within a two degree-of-freedom radiation shield coupled to a three-degree of freedom patient table is provided. The radiation shield can include an axial shield rotatable about an axial axis and an oblique shield independently rotatable about an oblique axis, thereby providing improved range of trajectories of the therapeutic and diagnostic radiation beams. Such shields can be balanced about their respective axes of rotation and about a common support structure to facilitate ease of movement. Such systems can further include an imaging system to accurately deliver radiation to the treatment target and automatically make corrections needed to maintain the anatomical target at the system isocenter.

  • Publication number: 20160342720
Abstract: The present invention provides a method, system and computer program for ranking suspect components in a hardware design that fails verification, based on their likelihood of being actual error sources, and identifying design revisions or branches that are likely to contain actual error sources. The method is implemented as a suspect and revision ranking engine. The ranking engine involves the input of an engineer to provide an initial set of suspects or it can use the application of at least one automated debugging tool for each failure exposed by verification, and collects suspect sets returned by these tools. These tools can be based on simulation, path tracing, ATPG, BDDs, SAT, and QBF techniques. The engine applies either an analytical or statistical process on the suspects that are collected, to identify suspect components that are likely responsible for a large number of design failures.

  • Publication number: 20080177280
Abstract: Radiosurgical treatment of tissues of the heart to mitigate arrhythmias such as atrial fibrillation or the like. Radiosurgical targeting of the relatively rapid movement of heart tissues may be enhanced by generating a moving model volume using a time-sequence of three dimensional acquired tissue volumes. A digitally reconstructed radiograph (DRR) may be generated from the model at a desired cardiac and/or respiration motion phase and compared to an X-ray or the like taken immediately before or during treatment. When a series of radiation beams will be directed to a heart tissue to alleviate an arrhythmia, the treatment system may alter the radiation beam series in response to the type of the arrhythmia.

  • Publication number: 20060251419
Abstract: A method is provided to allocate bandwidth from a first node to a second node in a optical network. The method begins by accepting a request from an end-user, who requests a virtual path between the first node and the second node. The first and second nodes are ones of a number of such nodes. Each one of the nodes is coupled to at least one other node by at least one of a number of optical links. The nodes and links form the optical network. The virtual path has a bandwidth requirement associated therewith. Next, the service provider determines an amount of bandwidth available between the first and the second nodes. The service provider then allocates at least a portion of the amount of bandwidth available between the first and second nodes equal to the bandwidth requirement, so long as the bandwidth requirement is not greater than the amount of bandwidth available between the first and second nodes.

  • Publication number: 20050185654
Abstract: A method of providing network services is described. The network includes a number of nodes, each one of which is coupled to at least one other of the nodes by at least one of a number of optical links. The network is preferably capable of supporting a number of virtual circuits. The method begins with the receiving of a request for a virtual circuit between a first node and a second node of the network. Preferably, the request specifies a quality of service of the virtual circuit. Next, the availability of network resources for supporting a virtual circuit at the requested quality of service is determined. Assuming sufficient network resources are available for support of the virtual circuit, the request is then serviced by provisioning (and maintaining) the requested virtual circuit. Servicing the request preferably includes actions such as provisioning, maintaining, and restoring the virtual circuit, using the requested parameters.
