  • Publication number: 20220092688
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for pacing a spend may include: (1) receiving, at a pacing computer program executed by a computer processor, a spend budget for a user for a period, wherein the spend budget represents income transactions for the period minus recurring or expected expense transactions for the period; (2) determining, by the pacing computer program, a pace of spend for the spend budget at a point in time for the period, wherein the pace of spend may be asymmetrical across the period; (3) determining, by the pacing computer program, a current spend for the period at the point of time; and (4) causing, by the pacing computer program, a display of an electronic device to graphically present the pace of spend for the point in time and the current spend for the period at the point in time.

  • Patent number: 7945290
Abstract: The present invention provides for a wireless radio frequency (“RF”) modem that plugs into a host computer and shares a central processing unit and memory with the host computer, wherein principal modem functions are distributed between the modem and the host computer. In one embodiment, the modem performs RF conversion, and the host computer performs baseband processing and protocol stack control. In another embodiment, the modem performs RF conversion and baseband processing, and the host computer performs protocol stack control.

  • Publication number: 20080107222
Abstract: A method and apparatus for correcting a phase of a phase-modulated signal for blind demodulation. The method and apparatus generally include the creation of a plurality of angle bins, wherein each constellation point of the phase-modulated signal is assigned to an angle bin, depending on its phase angle. A histogram is formed of the angle bins and cross correlated with a template signal model histogram. The maximum value of the cross correlation determines a correction angle by which the phase angle of all the phase-modulated constellation points is multiplied.

  • Publication number: 20020083432
Abstract: The present invention is directed at a method and apparatus for updating a detachable software configurable wireless radio frequency modem that uses operating software. The RF modem uses an attached host computing device to download an operating software update to the RF modem's memory to reconfigure the RF modem. There is also a recovery feature that allows the original version of the RF modem's operating software to be saved and recovered if an attempt to update the RF modem's operating software is unsuccessful.
