  • Patent number: 11334573
Abstract: Pinnacle concepts are not amenable to detection by the use of keywords. A unit of natural language discourse (UNLD) “refers” to a pinnacle concept “C” when that UNLD uses linguistic expressions in such a way that “C” is regarded as expressed, used or invoked by an ordinary reader of “L.” A reference can have a “reference level” value that is proportional to: the “strength” with which the pinnacle concept is referenced, the probability that a pinnacle concept is referenced or both strength and probability. Pinnacle concepts can be divided into Quantifiers and non-Quantifiers. A Quantifier can modify the reference level assigned to a non-Quantifier. A concept “C,” that is determined to be referenced by a UNLD “x,” after application of its Quantifiers, is said to be asserted by “x.” Concept-based classification is the identification of whether a pinnacle concept “C” is asserted by a UNLD. Concept-based classification can be used for concept-based search.

  • Patent number: 11309529
Abstract: A method of making an OLED device includes providing a first undercut lift-off structure over the device substrate having a first array of bottom electrodes. Next, one or more first organic EL medium layers including at least a first light-emitting layer are deposited over the first undercut lift-off structure and over the first array of bottom electrodes. The first undercut lift-off structure and overlying first organic EL medium layer(s) are removed by treatment with a first lift-off agent comprising a fluorinated solvent to form a first intermediate structure. The process is repeated using a second undercut lift-off structure to deposit one or more second organic EL medium layers over a second array of bottom electrodes. After removal of the second undercut lift-off structure, a common top electrode is provided in electrical contact with the first and second organic EL medium layers.

  • Publication number: 20220073976
Abstract: Cyclone Rolling Circle Amplification (CRCA) based next-generation sequencing (NGS) using a multiple primer rolling circle amplification (RCA) reaction is generated using two or more tandem primers from the same strand on different locations of library adaptor regions of double stranded enriched targeted polymerase chain reaction (PCR) library products. This process allows multiple initiation and syntheses of the RCA reaction by an enzyme on the same circular template molecule, which is beneficial since the two or more primers complement each other in generating uniform amplification of the target circle population. Also, a method for keeping DNA nanoballs (also known as rolonies) compact, or more compact, and for pre-priming rolonies before sequencing to eliminate the hybridization of a seqeuncing primer after seeding the rolonies, and a Rolonies rolling circle amplification (RCA) based next-generation sequencing (NGS) using a dual Rolonies primer approach named REPLI-Rolony.
