  • Patent number: 11247770
Abstract: A vortex generator system has at least two vortex generators protrudable from an outer mold line of a vehicle surface at a location upstream of a cavity leading edge of a cavity in the vehicle surface. The vortex generators are spaced apart from each other and oriented such that the vortex generator aft ends are nearer to each than the vortex generator forward ends. The vortex generator lengthwise direction of each one of the vortex generators is oriented at a vortex generator directional angle relative to a direction of an airflow. The vortex generators are configured to generate a pair of counter-rotating vortices when the airflow passes over through or over the vortex generators. The counter-rotating vortices interact to produce a downwash of air away from the cavity that urges the store away from the vehicle as the store exits the cavity.

  • Patent number: 11244115
Abstract: Described is a system for identification of correlations in customer observables (COs). The system extracts key phrases representing COs from textual inputs from multiple data sources, wherein the COs are related to a consumer product. A unified hypergraph is constructed that models co-occurrences of COs. The unified hypergraph includes nodes and types of hyperedges connecting the nodes, where COs are represented by nodes and data sources are represented by different types of hyperedges. Each node of the unified hypergraph is embedded into a latent feature space. The unified hypergraph is partitioned into clusters within the latent feature space, where each cluster contains correlated CO data. The correlated CO data from a cluster are used to generate and provide targeted messages specific to the consumer product to a display device.

  • Publication number: 20220036001
Abstract: A natural language model can be primed utilizing optimized examples generated from a labeled knowledge graph corresponding to an independently developed application program. Parsing of the labeled knowledge graph can include the identification of triples, comprising a source node, a destination node, and a link between them, each of which can be labeled. One or more natural language input examples can be generated from an individual triple by concatenating the natural language words or phrases utilized to label the source node in the link. Determinations that subsequently received natural language user input is similar to the generated examples can result in an identification of the triple, which can, in turn, trigger the performance of a function associated with the destination node of the triple. Labels can include preferred labels and alternative labels, and various permutations thereof can be concatenated to generate alternative natural language input examples.

  • Publication number: 20220016739
Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure generally relate to chemical mechanical polishing systems (CMP) systems and processes used in the manufacturing of electronic devices. In particular, embodiments herein relate to methods of detecting non-conforming substrate processing events during a polishing process. In one embodiment, a method of processing a substrate on a polishing system includes urging a surface of a silicon carbide substrate against a polishing pad in the presence of a polishing fluid, determining a temperature of the polishing pad using a temperature sensor that is positioned above the platen, monitoring the temperature of the polishing pad, and, if the change in polishing pad temperature reaches a threshold value, initiating a response using a controller of the polishing system.
