  • Patent number: 12300403
Abstract: Disclosed are cable types, including a type THHN cable, the cable types having a reduced surface coefficient of friction, and the method of manufacture thereof, in which the central conductor core and insulating layer are surrounded by a material containing nylon or thermosetting resin. A silicone based pulling lubricant for said cable, or alternatively, erucamide or stearyl erucamide for small cable gauge wire, is incorporated, by alternate methods, with the resin material from which the outer sheath is extruded, and is effective to reduce the required pulling force between the formed cable and a conduit during installation.

  • Patent number: 12151733
Abstract: Physical shopping carts can have product detection systems and associate physical shopping carts with mobile computing devices (e.g., smartphones, tablet computing devices, smart watches, wearable computing devices). For example, physical shopping carts can be equipped with one or more product detection systems (e.g., scanners, sensors, cameras) that can electronically tally products that are placed in physical shopping carts. Mobile computing devices can be associated with and mounted on the physical shopping carts to provide a variety of enhanced shopping cart features not possible with conventional physical shopping carts, such as electronically tracking the contents of a shopping cart, checking-out from the mobile computing device (instead of at conventional check-out areas, such as point of sale terminals), and others.

  • Patent number: 12116585
Abstract: A genetically modified fruit-producing plant, said plant having sufficiently reduced total Polyphenol Oxidase (PPO) activity relative to a wild type of said plant to reduce browning in the fruit of said plant relative to said wild type, wherein the reduced total PPO activity results from a reduction in activity of at least two PPO isoenzymes in said plant relative to said wild type, or a cell, seed, seedling, part, tissue, cell, fruit or progeny of said plant.

  • Patent number: 12074420
Abstract: A wall plate for covering an AC/DC wall outlet includes a generally rectangular or “designer” opening configured to receive the wall outlet. The wall plate includes a cable retention member and a pass-through section. The cable retention member and the pass-through section protrude from a front face of the wall plate. The retention member protrudes far enough to allow the wall plate to seat on the outlet while a cable connector is in a corresponding DC outlet of the wall outlet. The retention member includes a slot configured to allow the connector to pass-through the slot in a first orientation but not a second orientation 90 degrees off from the first orientation. When the connector is in the DC outlet, it is in the second orientation relative to the slot. The pass-through section defines an opening that allows the connector to be received in a second DC outlet corresponding to the pass-through section regardless of orientation of the connector relative to the opening and pass-through section.

  • Patent number: 11948707
Abstract: A system for providing cable support may be provided. The system may comprise a conductor core, a filler that may provide integral core support, and armor. The conductor core may comprise at least one conductor. The filler may be applied around at least a portion of the conductor core. The armor may be applied around at least a portion of the filler. The applied armor may be configured to cause the filler to apply a strong enough force on an exterior of the conductor core configured to keep the conductor core from slipping down an interior of the filler due to a gravitational force. In addition, the applied armor may be configured to cause the filler to apply a strong enough force on an interior of the armor configured to keep a combination of the conductor core and the filler from slipping down the interior of the armor due to the gravitational force.

  • Publication number: 20230401655
Abstract: A water conservation incentivization system including a water source, a water extraction system, a sensor coupled to the water extraction system to collect water extraction data during a water extraction transaction, a server carrying water extraction criteria, and a reporting device wirelessly coupled between the sensor and the server for uploading collected water extraction data of the water extraction transaction to the server. The water extraction criteria carried by the server and the water extraction data for the water extraction transaction determine associated token allotment. A blockchain network is coupled to the server for receiving and logging the collected water extraction data of the water extraction transaction with associated tokens to a blockchain, the tokens added or subtracted as determined by the server using the water extraction criteria.
