    Abstract: A double mooring bollard fo the contra rotating, mechanically driven type is provided for ship and offshore installations. The mooring bollard includes first and second fixed mooring bollards, at least one of which includes a motor and a centrally located driving axle thereinside. An outer cylinder is rotably provided on the outside of each fixed bollard with an upper end therof arranged for coupling to the driving axle.
