    Abstract: The invention relates to an apparatus for cutting out and removing tissue cylinders from a tissue located within a cavity of the body or a joint and/or in or on a wall section thereof. The apparatus includes at least two, especially two cutting devices, each of which has a hollow cylindrical base, a distal opening at a distal end of the base, and a cutting element that surrounds the distal opening. The at least two cutting devices are disposed inside each other and can be rotated relative to one another. The apparatus further includes at least one driving device for rotating the respective base of the at least two cutting devices about the longitudinal axis of the base. The invention also relates to the use of the apparatus.
