  • Publication number: 20080254924
Abstract: An ergonomically-designed racquet stringing machine. In certain embodiments, the stringing machine includes a stand extending from a base at an angle between about 70 and about 89 degrees from horizontal. In certain embodiments, the stringing machine includes a releasable resistance assembly configured to provide resistance to rotation of the turntable about an axis.

  • Publication number: 20080254923
Abstract: An ergonomically-designed racquet stringing machine. In certain embodiments, the stringing machine includes a stringing platform supporting at least one racquet mount for securing the racquet in a stringing plane at an angle of about 1 to about 15 degrees from a horizontal surface. A control unit may be coupled to the stringing platform and operably coupled to a platform tilt assembly for adjusting the position of the stringing platform and the angle of the stringing plane. Additionally, the stringing machine may include a tool storage tray coupled to the stringing platform, with the tool storage tray having a bottom surface that is in a plane non-parallel with the stringing plane.

  • Publication number: 20080254922
Abstract: An ergonomically-designed racquet stringing machine. The stringing machine includes an electronic control unit coupled to a platform and/or to a height adjustment assembly. The control unit is capable of generating a control signal to automatically adjust at least one parameter of the machine, such as machine height, angle of stringing platform, or string tension, based upon a selected user profile. A method of controlling tension in a racquet while stringing the racquet entails the use of the stringing machine.

  • Publication number: 20040005944
Abstract: A package of racquet string includes a continuous piece of string which is divided into first and second portions. The first portion of string has a length which is sufficient to string one-half of the main strings of a game racquet. The second portion of string has a length which is sufficient to string the remainder of the main strings and all of the cross strings of the racquet.

  • Patent number: 4720592
Abstract: The reaction mixture obtained by oxidation of cyclohexane using a cobalt catalyst is extracted with water to remove undesirable oxidation products such as diacids, hydroxy acids, and cobalt catalyst. The resulting mixture is then hydrogenated using a fixed bed hydrogenation catalyst to convert cyclohexyl hydroperoxide to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone.

  • Patent number: 4056294
Abstract: A cabinet for storage of a sewing machine operable selectively for open arm and flat bed sewing is disclosed. The machine is mounted fast to a first panel for swinging movement therewith to operative position, and is locked in place by a second panel which swings out of position during the swinging movement of the first panel and to a return position to hold the first panel with the machine mounted thereon into a position for open arm sewing. Additional panels are mounted for swinging movement away from the machine during open arm operation thereof, and towards the machine to lie in planar relationship for flat bed sewing.
