  • Biased flow directional liquor nozzle

    Abstract: An apparatus for spraying liquor onto the walls of a recovery boiler furnace has a biased opening at the end of a nozzle. The bias and reduced opening size cause the liquor stream to be flattened and allow for direction of the stream onto specific walls of the furnace. A method for using the apparatus to direct the stream of liquor onto a particular furnace wall is also disclosed.
