  • Publication number: 20100036289
Abstract: A rotary disk securely rotates a patient for the purpose of inducing vestibulo-ocular reflex eye movements. The apparatus provides a rotating platform with a positioning post to which a patient can be secured with a safety vest. A headrest on the positioning post permits a patient's head to be positioned at an angle conducive to inducing reflex eye movements. A camera or other recording device is used to view and record eye movements before, during and/or after a patient is subjected to a period of rotation.
