  • Patent number: 7191494
Abstract: The stabilizer apparatus for a power head attachment for rotationally powered tools in which a housing supports a stabilizer apparatus including a stabilizer collar rotatable to selected positions relative to the input shaft of the head attachment and a stabilizer arm pivotally mounted on the collar for movement to selected angular positions relative to the axis of the input shaft between a plurality of locked positions and a single unlocked position. In the unlocked position of the arm, the collar can be rotated to various circumferential positions and in each one of the positions the stabilizer arm can be located at a selected one of multiple angular positions which also lock the arm and collar in a fixed position making possible many combinations of positions of the stabilizer arm relative to the power head of the tool.

  • Publication number: 20060032989
Abstract: A mounting structure for radios which supports a radio in an opening in a wall or bulkhead of a boat in which a mounting member of a top and pair of side panels is made of plastic material in a substantially flat member which permits the side panel to be folded relative to the top for detachable engagement with a frame bordering the instrument panel of the radio. The frame and mounting are fastened to the radio by two fasteners for insertion as an assembly in the wall opening. The mounting structure shields the top and sides of the radio and protects it from spray and moisture. The mounting structure is provided with tabs to facilitate installation of the assembled radio and mounting structure.

  • Patent number: 6752045
Abstract: A squeeze type, rotating wrench has a toothed drive gear for receiving selected tool elements. The drive gear is driven in a selected direction by a push arm and reversible pawl upon squeezing of a pair of handles relative to each other. Reversing the direction of rotation is accomplished by pivoting the pawl from one position to another relative to the push arm.

  • Patent number: 5406866
Abstract: The drive speed of a drive shaft of a screwdriver is selectable by a user by holding a gear transmission housing. Two sets of pinch rollers are employed to rotate the drive shaft at one speed. When the housing is held, one set of pinch rollers is disengaged from the drive shaft, while the other set is engaged through a step-up gear transmission to rotate the drive speed at a greater speed.
