  • Patent number: 11928188
Abstract: A machine has a network interface circuit to provide connectivity to networked machines. A processor is connected to the network interface circuit. A memory is connected to the processor and the network interface circuit. The memory stores instructions executed by the processor to record the purchase of a digital asset by a user at a client machine from a data source machine in network communication with the client machine. The location of the digital asset on one or more machines of the networked machines is archived. The location is separate from the data source machine. The digital asset is associated with a data access policy. A request for the digital asset is received. The data access policy is enforced through programmatic control utilized by one or more of the networked machines to form a consent state. Distribution of the digital asset to a networked machine is authorized in response to the consent state.

  • Publication number: 20150191950
Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of a product dispenser security door may be described. The product dispenser security door may be made from a variety of materials that are generally resilient to cutting or breaking on impact and may have attachment mechanisms on a first side and a second side of the door. A first side of the product dispenser security door may be coupled to a product dispenser using a plurality of hinges. A second side of the product dispenser security door may be coupled to a product dispenser using a plurality of padlock latches and a padlock, the shackle of which may be protected by a cover extending generally around the padlock latches and having a height sufficient to cover the shackle of a padlock.

  • Publication number: 20060251474
Abstract: A grating system includes a first welded subassembly and a second non-welded subassembly joined to one another. The first subassembly includes spaced elongated bearing bars and spaced elongated cross bars extending transversely to the bearing bars. The second subassembly includes spaced elongated filler bars and spaced elongated cross bars extending transversely to the filler bars. The filler bars extend in the same direction as the bearing bars and are disposed in sets between adjacent bearing bars. The bearing bars include spaced notches in which are received the first subassembly cross bars and the second subassembly cross bars, which are aligned above the first subassembly cross bars. The subassemblies have respective upper surfaces which are flush with one another. The first subassembly is configured to support vehicle traffic and the second subassembly is configured to support pedestrian traffic.

  • Patent number: 6970072
Abstract: A home automation module having an externally powered communications port. The module includes an automation microprocessor for controlling the module, a communications port for enabling the module to draw power in limited quantities from an external source, a receiver/transmitter section, a power line carrier (PLC) coupler for enabling the transfer of signals between the module and a main while electrically isolating the module from the main, a zero-crossing detector for monitoring the phase of the power on the main while maintaining substantial electrical isolation of the module from the main, and a boost regulator for enabling the module to derive sufficient power from the communications port to drive the PLC coupler during signal transmissions from the module to the main. The detector maintains substantial electrical isolation through an opto-isolator. The boost regulator stores up power over time so that sufficient power will be available when the demand is made.
