  • Publication number: 20180106871
Abstract: Disclosed herein are methods, systems, and computer-readable media for operating an electronic locking device. The disclosed methods include a method of predicting a battery life of an electronic locking product based at least in part on a usage history of the electronic locking product. The predicted battery life may include an adjustment based on received weather information relating to a location of the electronic locking device. The disclosed methods include a method of sharing an unlocking code to an electronic locking product by a first user to a second user.

  • Publication number: 20170236352
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable media for wireless key management for authentication. Authentication includes transmitting a request to a locking device, transmitting a security challenge to the mobile device, and transmitting a response to the challenge and an encrypted user profile for the locking device. The response includes data generated with an access key that is stored by both the mobile device and the locking device, and the user profile is encrypted by a server using a secret key that is stored by the server and the locking device. Authentication further includes verifying the response to the challenge, where the response is verified using the access key, and validating additional data from the mobile device. An action of the locking device may be initiated as specified by the request.

  • Publication number: 20160105644
Abstract: A system includes a remote server and a device having a wireless transceiver, microphone, and processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to monitor the microphone for a siren signature. The processing circuit is configured to use the wireless transceiver to send information to the remote server in response to a detection of the siren signature. The remote server causes wireless cameras located near the device to capture a current image and to send the captured image to the remote server for further distribution.

  • Publication number: 20160035163
Abstract: Disclosed are methods, systems, and computer-readable media for tracking location of locking devices. One locking device includes a wireless transceiver, a memory, an electronically controllable locking mechanism, a processor, and a location determination circuit configured to determine a location of the electronic locking device. The processor is configured to receive one or more location data items indicating the location of the electronic locking device at one or more times, to store the one or more location data items in the memory, and to transmit the one or more location data items from the memory to a mobile device via the wireless transceiver.
