  • Patent number: 10229210
Abstract: Systems, methods, and other embodiments associated with search query task management for search system tuning are described. In one embodiment, a method includes receiving interaction data that describes an interaction with a search system. The search system includes a search engine configured to process search queries to return results that include a ranked set of documents that are relevant to respective search queries. A search query to be used as a basis for search engine tuning is identified based on at least the interaction data. Request data describing a tuning request for the identified search query is transmitted to a search query tuning system. In response to the tuning request for the identified search query, the search query tuning system adds the identified search query to a set of search queries that are candidates for use as a basis for search engine tuning.

  • Patent number: 7871052
Abstract: An adjustable cover hold down system designed to be used with an awing cover or a tarp that includes a flexible elongated body capable of being rolled into a compact roll during storage and then unrolled prior to being used. The system includes a plurality of clips designed to attach to an enlarged, longitudinally aligned, perimeter beaded edge that extends the entire length of the body. The clips may include adjustable clamp, a hook clip or an elongated traveler that enables them to be attached to the lower free edge of a trap, a tarp gusset, or the slot formed on a roller bar used on an awning cover, respectively. The body includes a bladder with at least one port opening with a removable cap that allows the bladder to be selectively filled with different volumes of a fluid material, such as water or sand.

  • Publication number: 20080116348
Abstract: A ground cover hold down device that includes a flexible elongated bladder made of durable, U-V resistant, coated vinyl capable being rolled into a compact rolled configuration for storage and unrolled to form an elongated expanded bladder capable of being filled with water. Formed on the top surface of the bladder is at least one filling port that allows the worker to fill the bladder with water. Located along two longitudinal edges of the bladder is a plurality of laterally extending eyelets. Each eyelet is made of rigid PVC and designed to remain laterally extended as the bladder is filled with water and assumes an oval cross-sectional configuration. A stake is then extended through each eyelet to hold the bladder in place over the ground cover. The bladder also includes a drain plug located at the opposite end of the bladder so that the water may be selectively removed from the bladder.

  • Publication number: 20060150537
Abstract: A hold down device used to hold down a tarp placed over an object or placed over a sloped surface. The device comprises a flexible elongated body capable of being rolled into a compact roll during storage and then unrolled for use. The body includes a bladder designed to be filled with fluid material, such as water or sand. Formed on the bladder is at least one port opening and a removable cap that allows the user to selectively fill the bladder with fluid material to provide weight used to hold-down the edge of the tarp. Located along the top edge of the body is a plurality of grommets. Extending through the grommets are adjustable clips that enable the body to be selectively attached to the lower edge of a tarp or stakes that allow the device to hold down a tarp placed over a sloped surface.

  • Patent number: 5171615
Abstract: An artificial frond for use with artificial plants has an elongate rod for providing structural integrity. A plurality of elongate leaves, each having a first end in engagement with the rod, extend outwardly from the rod. The first end of each of the leaves includes an aperture extending therethrough. The rod extends through the aperture of each of the leaves for attaching the leaves to the rod. A stem portion surrounds the rod and is in engagement with the first end of the leaves for firmly securing the leaves to the rod such that the stem portion and the leaves are formed generally in the shape of a frond.

  • Patent number: 4989590
Abstract: An irrigation appliance uses a reservoir which inverts to form a cover and includes a simplified valve in the reservoir as well as a switching mechanism adapted thereto. Liquid delivered to the unit from the reservoir is controlled as to pressure by adjustment on a hand-held device remote from the unit. In the base unit are elements which regulate forward and backward flow in order to obtain outlet pressure control.
