  • Publication number: 20240122763
Abstract: Embodiments of negative pressure wound therapy systems and methods are disclosed. In one embodiment, an apparatus includes a wound dressing, negative pressure source, user interface, sensor, and control circuitry. The user interface can receive an activation input. The sensor can detect whether the wound dressing is positioned over a wound. The control circuitry can cause supply of negative pressure in response to receipt of the activation input and a determination that the sensor detects that the wound dressing is positioned over the wound. In addition, the control circuitry can prevent supply of negative pressure in response to a determination that the sensor does not detect that the wound dressing is positioned over the wound.

  • Publication number: 20220054563
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a method of treating a human patient comprising the steps of: systemically administering multiple doses of a parenteral formulation of a replication capable oncolytic adenovirus of subgroup B in a single treatment cycle, wherein the total dose given in each dose is in the range of 1×1010 to 1×1014 viral particles, and wherein each dose of virus is administered over a period of 1 to 90 minutes, for example at a rate of viral particle delivery in the range of 2×1010 particles per minute to 2×1012 particles per minute. The disclosure further extends to formulations of the said oncolytic adenoviruses and combination therapies of the viruses and formulations with other therapeutic agents.

  • Patent number: 10461791
Abstract: There are provided methods and systems for effectively analyzing RF interference in wireless networks, such as LTE and NR standards compliant networks, to facilitate tracking, identification, location, and repair of interference sources in such networks. According to an embodiment, a network management server receives measurement data from a plurality of measurement devices in the network. The server processes the measurement data to detect interference of one or more of a plurality of signal pattern types in the network and to generate pattern characterization data that characterizes the detected signal patterns. The server receives a user selection of a signal pattern type and selects, in response to the user selection and for display to the user, pattern characterization data that characterizes signals of the selected signal pattern type.

  • Publication number: 20100175699
Abstract: A sensor assembly for monitoring the respiration pattern of a subject is disclosed, the sensor comprising a sensor element for exposing to a gas stream exhaled by the subject comprising a first electrode, a second electrode and an active layer extending between the first and second electrodes to provide an electrical path therebetween, the sensor element being responsive to the concentration of water vapour in the gas stream exhaled by the subject, whereby the conductivity of the path between the electrodes varies in response to changes in the concentration of water vapour; a processor for determining the pattern of respiration of the subject; and means for displaying information relating to the determined respiration pattern to a user. The sensor assembly is particular suitable for measuring the respiration rate and/or depth of respiration of the subject. The sensor and method find particular application in the diagnosis and treatment of sleep apnea.
