  • Publication number: 20260002349
Abstract: A battery-free flushometer includes a combination of a power generation system, a power storage system, and/or a power management system to enable the flushometer to operate without the need for connection to an external power source, changing spent batteries, or recharging spent batteries using an external power source, as well as structures supporting this functionality. The flushometer may include a valve assembly. The power generation system may include a hydraulic turbine assembly positioned downstream of the valve assembly and configured to generate power using the water discharged through the outlet, and/or a photovoltaic cell configured to generate electrical power by converting light energy to the electrical power. The power storage system is electrically connected to the power generation system and includes a power storage device to receive and store electrical power generated by the power generation system. The stored electrical power can be used to actuate the valve assembly.

  • Patent number: 12196020
Abstract: A door assembly for a restroom stall having first and second opposed side walls and a front opening includes first and second housings defining first and second inner cavities and configured to be mounted on the first and second side walls, first and second doors moveably mounted on the first and second housings, each having opposed inner and outer surfaces that are curved and being moveable along an arcing path between an open position and a closed position. In the open position, the door is retracted within the respective housing and at least partially received in the respective inner cavity, and in the closed position, the door is extended outward of the respective housing relative to the open position. In the closed positions, the first and second doors combine to obstruct the front opening, and in the open positions, the first and second doors permit passage through the front opening.

  • Publication number: 20240344310
Abstract: A hand washing station may include a basin assembly having a basin with a drain and a rear wall at a rear of the basin and extending upward from a bottom to a top of the basin, and at least one spout for a water dispenser, a soap dispenser, and/or a hand dryer. The spout(s) may be fixed to the rear wall and extend from the rear wall, and may use a combination of fixed and removable fasteners for such fixing. The basin assembly may also include a flange extending rearwardly at the top of the rear wall for mounting to a top of a pony wall. The station may be configured to install in a variety of different positions and configurations, such as in a pony wall configuration or with a cabinet located below the basin. A drain adapter may also be provided to aid with compact installation.

  • Publication number: 20070193754
Abstract: The linear actuated reciprocating garden hoe of the present invention is an effective and easy to use gardening tool for removing weeds and unwanted grasses and for cultivating ground. Specifically, the present invention discloses a reciprocating hoe having a hoe blade attached to a second end of a handle, a linear actuator mounted on the handle near the second end thereof and a linkage assembly interconnecting the linear actuator and hoe blade. A hoe mounting bracket mounts the hoe blade to the second end of the handle. The pivoting mechanism has a reciprocating rod connected to the linear actuator, a linkage bracket connected to the hoe blade and a linkage lever interconnecting the reciprocating rod and linkage bracket. Preferably, the range of reciprocation of the hoe blade is limited to a range of 2 to 3 millimeters to minimize risk to the user, bystanders or cultivated vegetation.

  • Patent number: RE33322
Abstract: A drive line joint assembly (10) has splined driving and driven members (13,20), one of which has a protuberance (36) which extends axially along a spline (16,18) thereof to insure the absence of radial tolerance for balancing purpose. In a preferred form, a forged steel spline (16) has a resilient coating (40) bonded thereto, the coating preferably of a nylon or of other material having comparable low friction quality. The resilient protuberance is an integral part of the latter low friction coating and is formed by a broaching tool after the coating material has been applied to the spline. In a preferred embodiment, the proturberance extends only 0.001 to 0.003 inch above the surface of the coating, wherein the coating has a thickness in the range of 0.007 to 0.014 inch over the steel body portion of the spline. At least three of the protuberances are preferred, each circumferentially spaced from the other.
