  • Publication number: 20250289114
Abstract: A stabilizing device attachable to a handle of a long-handled tool includes a first angled connector and a second angled connector. Each angled connector has a slotted plate with a slotted plate edge and an axle bolt opening. Each angled connector has a U-bolt plate perpendicular to and connected to a slotted plate along the slotted plate and U-bolt plate edges. A bracket clip has finger catches extending outward from the clip edges. A spacer block is securable between the slotted plates adjacent the axle bolt openings. An axle bolt extends through the axle bolt openings and the spacer block. A support leg has a leg first end rotatably attached between the first and second angled connectors, and a leg distal end opposite the leg first end. The support leg is extendable from a first position adjacent the handle to a second position away from the handle.

  • Publication number: 20240367920
Abstract: An example method includes receiving task identification information indicative of a manufacturing task to be performed on a workpiece, wherein the workpiece transfer system comprises a rail and a plurality of arms coupled to the rail, wherein each arm comprises (i) a plurality of arm linkages coupled at respective joints, (ii) an arm controller in communication with the supervisory controller, and (iii) respective joint controllers in communication with the arm controller and configured to actuate respective rotary actuators at the respective joints to move the plurality of arm linkages relative to each other: retrieving a motion plan corresponding to the manufacturing task and the workpiece: sending command signals to respective arm controllers to communicate respective command signals to the respective joint controllers and execute the motion plan; and once the final desired configuration is achieved, commanding the respective arm controllers to lock the respective joints.

  • Patent number: 4995019
Abstract: An adaptive time period measurement technique which provides full speed for every measurement period with increased resolution afforded from repeated measurements. The time measure is produced by adaptively filtering a number of prior time measures. Each measurement includes a count and a fractional part from a controlled variable delay interposed in the measurement system. This variable delay is controlled over a number of measurements to cover the entire range of one clock cycle, preferably in accordance with a reversed binary progression algorithm. The adaptive filtering is preferably a self-modifying, classic low pass filter with a roll off which depends on the rate of change and direction of change of the measurerd time period. Thus the present invention provides all the resolution feasible based upon the rate of change of the measured quantity.
