  • Publication number: 20210395415
Abstract: Carpet binder compositions comprising a mineral filler and a copolymer produced by emulsion polymerization and derived from monomers comprising a vinyl aromatic monomer, a 1,3-diene monomer, and an additional monomer selected from a copolymerizable surfactant, a (meth)acrylate monomer, a carboxylic acid monomer, or a combination thereof are disclosed. The carpet binder compositions can be formulated with a non-polymerizable surfactant such as an aryl phosphate surfactant. The compositions exhibit superior wet and dry delamination strengths as well as suitable froth viscosities. As a result, such carpet binder compositions can be made at higher filler loadings.

  • Patent number: 11202324
Abstract: The present disclosure provides a grant free state for user equipment, for example a machine type communication (MTC) UE. There is provided a method for transitioning a state of a User Equipment (UE). The method includes determining, by the UE, if data is to be sent and transitioning, by the UE, to a grant free state when no data is to be sent, wherein transitioning to the grant free state includes receiving a grant free identifier (GF-ID). In some embodiments, the method further includes in accordance with a determination that an amount of data to be sent is below a threshold, transmitting, by the UE, the data together with the GF-ID. In addition, user equipment and base transceiver stations are provided each of which include a processor and memory having instructions stored thereon, which when executed by the processor configure the respective UE or BTS to perform the respective methods.

  • Publication number: 20210374629
Abstract: A method for visualizing flow direction in a distribution network includes receiving, on a hardware device, Geographic Information System (GIS) data corresponding to the distribution network from a GIS database. The distribution network includes equipment to facilitate distribution of a commodity over a distribution area, and the GIS data includes information relating to distribution of the commodity. Commodity vectorized measurement data indicative of at least a flow direction of the commodity over the distribution area is generated based, at least in part, on a comparison of a current measurement value of the commodity to a reference measurement value of the commodity. The commodity vectorized measurement data is dynamically displayed on a geographic map display including imagery representative of the distribution network contained in the GIS data.

  • Publication number: 20210335572
Abstract: Systems and methods are described herein for electron-beam lithography. In some aspects, a photo electron emitter and channel array assembly (PEECAA) may include a photo-electron emitting cathode having a uniform planar surface and an array of beam channels proximate to the cathode. In some cases, at least one of the cathode or the array of beam channels is removable from the PEECAA. The array of beam channels may include a grid of apertures, a plurality of beam channels, and a shared lens array including a plurality of lenses proximate to an exit of the plurality of beam channels. Individual apertures of the grid of apertures align with individual beam channels to allow electrons from the cathode to pass through the array of beam channels and the shared lens array to form a pixelated pattern, such that, upon exposure to the target, the pixelated pattern is permanently formed on the target.

  • Publication number: 20210321167
Abstract: A method, apparatus, and stored instructions are provided for selectively incorporating feedback from a remote audience into live content. The feedback is incorporated into one part of a segment at the same time that another part of the segment is played to an audience. A feedback manager may receive feedback from audience members on a first part of the segment while a second, later part of the segment is being played to the audience by a client machine and while a third, even later part of the segment is being generated by a content manager. The feedback manager may then compare feedback data to stored criteria to determine whether or not to change the playing content.

  • Publication number: 20210295244
Abstract: A computer-implemented system and method of improving product metadata is provided. The method includes storing a plurality of datasets associated with a plurality of items in a database by a server. Each dataset is associated with an item and item metadata and include at least one of an attribute, an item name, a bar code and an item image. The server may present a graphical user interface (GUI) on a user device. The GUI comprises a search box and a set of attribute-based filters. The set of attribute-based filters includes a negative filter and a positive filter. The server receives a search request with a user input and a selection of the negative filter associated with a predefined attribute. The server may apply the negative filter to search the database to present a list of items each without the predefined attribute on the user device based on the search request.

  • Patent number: 11017131
Abstract: A system and methods for optimizing distribution network designs are disclosed. In some embodiments, the disclosed system detects placement of a component in a network design. In response, the disclosed system generates multiple design alternatives incorporating the component in different configurations and/or at different locations. The disclosed system determines in parallel a design goal metric associated with at least one design goal that is to be optimized for each of the design alternatives including the original design. The disclosed system then identifies a preferred network design based on the goal metrics. The goal metric of the preferred distribution network design indicates a higher level of optimization with respect to the at least one design goal compared to other of the design alternatives. By performing the optimization, the disclosed system ensures that the optimal configuration is selected and applied in the design.

  • Patent number: 10979311
Abstract: System and method for validating distribution network configuration changes in a client environment are disclosed. The system residing on a client device detects network configuration changes made by a user. The disclosed system, working with a locally stored model of the network, validates the network configuration changes against one or more validation rules that are also stored locally in the client device. When validating the network configuration changes, the disclosed system can perform a number of network engineering calculations to detect invalid network configuration changes. The disclosed system then provides graphical feedback in real time to inform the user of any invalid network configuration changes.

  • Patent number: 10874578
Abstract: An inflation garment for the treatment of DVT is operated by a portable, battery powered air pump and controller detachably mounted on the inflation garment. The controller is formed with hook-fastening devices on the bottom surface of the controller that is detachably engagable with the material on the outer surface of the inflation garment. To mount the controller, the inflation garment is folded to expose the air inlet and outlet ports on the inflation garment to facilitate the operative attachment of the controller ports, then the inflation garment is unfolded and pressed against the bottom surface of the controller to engage the hook fasteners with the material of the inflation garment. A supplemental support is provided to wrap at least partially around the inflation garment to enhance the support of the inflation garment on the patient's limb without slipping.

  • Publication number: 20200342932
Abstract: Memory systems and techniques for efficiently storing data are described herein. A memory system may include a memory string of multiple dynamic memory cells, with each cell having an access transistor connecting a data-input-line to a capacitive element, an output transistor connected to the capacitive element, with the output transistors of the multiple cells having channels connected in series forming a stacked-gate transistor, and a read-select-line connected to the capacitive element, where a change in voltage on the read-select line controls voltage on the capacitive element. The memory system also includes a read-string-select-line connecting in series the channels of the output transistors of the cells, and a data-output-line connected to the stacked-gate transistor, such that to access data stored in the cells, the read-select-line of the cells is set to a neutral level to cause the output of the output transistor of the cells to be detectable on the data-output-line.

  • Patent number: RE48615
Abstract: Methods and apparatus for use in communicating messages from a communication device are described. The device receives, via its user interface, an input request for creating a new message. The device also receives, via its user interface, one or more input requests for selecting one or more message recipient identifiers for the new message. In response to receiving the one or more input requests, the device identifies whether a stored conversation thread is associated with conversation participant identifiers that match the conversation participant identifiers for the new message. If so, the device displays the identified conversation thread together with a message body input field of the new message, prior to entry of message body contents in the message body input field.
