  • Patent number: 12263486
Abstract: A method of washing aggregate material, the method comprising: receiving aggregate material in a tank; receiving water in said tank; by at least a rear wall of said tank, retaining said aggregate material and water in a rearward portion of said tank and preventing said water and aggregate material from overflowing said rear wall; agitating said aggregate material and water to form a slurry; advancing said slurry to a tank outlet in a forward portion of said tank; depositing said slurry through said tank outlet; receiving said slurry on a vibrating screen; allowing an undersize portion of said slurry to fall through said vibrating screen; pumping at least a fraction of said undersize portion to a hydrocyclone; by said hydrocyclone, separating said fraction of said undersize portion into an underflow fraction and an overflow fraction; receiving said underflow fraction on said vibrating screen; and passing product from said vibrating screen.

  • Publication number: 20070193654
Abstract: A stump grinding apparatus having a split cutting wheel includes several replaceable cutter blocks secured to the periphery of the wheel. One or more replacement teeth are removably anchored in holes in each block and may also be mounted on holes in the side of the split wheel as well. The teeth are typically provided with a hardened cutting face, and are reinforced with an extension projecting back from the face. Each tooth includes a shank which fits into one of the holes. The shank contains a groove which receives a spring clip or a spring pin for securing the tooth in the hole. The wheel periphery contains individual recesses that are shaped to receive the cutter blocks. Each block includes means for insuring alignment of the block in the corresponding recess. The block is wedged tightly into its recess to reduce the likelihood of accidental removal.
