  • Patent number: 12037700
Abstract: A method of forming a film comprises growing, using a deposition system, at least a portion of the film and analyzing, using a RHEED instrument, the at least a portion of the film. Using a computer, data is acquired from the RHEED instrument that is indicative of a stoichiometry of the at least a portion of the film. Using the computer, adjustments to one or more process parameters of the deposition system are calculated to control stoichiometry of the film during subsequent deposition. Using the computer, instructions are transmitted to the deposition system to execute the adjustments of the one or more process parameters. Using the deposition system, the one or more process parameters are adjusted.

  • Patent number: 11140166
Abstract: A method for multi-tenant authorization includes receiving, from a user account of a multi-tenant computer system, a request for a resource of the multi-tenant computer system. The method further includes determining whether the resource corresponds to a local resource that is local to the user account or to a nonlocal resource that is not local to the user account. The method further includes identifying, by a processing device, a local access control policy of the user account, corresponding to the local resource, or a visiting access control policy of the user account, corresponding to the nonlocal resource. The method further includes determining that the identified access control policy of the user account comprises an access permission corresponding to the resource. The method further includes controlling access to the resource of the multi-tenant computer system based on the access permission.

  • Patent number: 10977380
Abstract: A method may include receiving, from a client device, a request for a resource of a computer system, determining one or more roles of a user associated with the client device, and determining one or more attributes of the user. The method may include determining one or more attributes of the resource and determining an access permission based on the one or more roles of the user and the resource. The method may include generating, by a processing device, a modified access permission by modifying the access permission based on at least one of: the one or more attributes of the user or the one or more attributes of the resource and providing or denying access to the resource of the computer system based on the modified access permission.

  • Publication number: 20190364051
Abstract: A method may include receiving a request for a resource of a computer system. The method may include determining one or more attributes of a user associated with the request, wherein the one or more attributes are based on a status of the user in an organization hierarchy, the organization hierarchy comprising one or more sub organizations corresponding to the user. The method may include determining that the request comprises one or more attribute names. The method may include: in response to receiving the request, generating, by a processing device, an access permission based on the organization hierarchy corresponding to the user and the one or more attribute names, by replacing the one or more attribute names with the one or more attributes. The method may include providing or denying access to the resource of the computer system based on the access permission.

  • Publication number: 20160006696
Abstract: Network function virtualization (NFV) or other cloud/remote processing of packets, signals, messaging, etc. for a home network or other network desiring remote management is contemplated. A virtual platform or other feature outside of the managed network may be configured to implement various NFVs according to NFV designs. An administrator of the managed network may interact with a portal or other relatively unsophisticated interface to formulate the NFV designs, thereby eliminating or ameliorating complexities associated with the administrator having to individually program routers or other devices of the managed network.

  • Patent number: 7966704
Abstract: A clasp which is lockable in both an open and a closed position includes a body having a first opening, a second opening, and an internal space; a connector fixed to the body for linking to a chain; a first spring; and a moveable connector. The movable connector, inseparable from the body, is movable to a locked closed position by the first spring and movable to a locked open position by an external force. The movable connector includes a first latch piece within the internal space of the body, and extends through the first opening. A button extends through the second opening. The button includes a second spring and a second latch piece that interfaces with the first latch piece. In a first position of the button, the second latch piece locks with the first latch piece.

  • Patent number: 7770390
Abstract: A wave energy harvester (100A) includes an element (120A) that converts forward and/or backward of water in a wave (102A, B, C) passing the harvester (100A) into upward and/or downward movement to thereby increase the vertical amplitude of the harvester (100A) relative to the sea floor (104A, B, C). In most preferred aspects, the element (120A) is a hydrofoil that is coupled to the harvester (100A). Further preferred aspects include those in which part of, or the entire harvester (100A) has a neutral buoyancy, and where energy is extracted from the downwards movement of the neutrally buoyant part (100A) after a wave has lifted that part (110A).

  • Publication number: 20090300892
Abstract: A clasp is described that is lockable in both an open and a closed position. In the locked open position the clasp can be manipulated without concern for the clasp unintentionally closing before it can receive the end of a chain, such as a necklace or the like. Pushing a button on the clasp closes and locks the clasp. The clasp remains locked in the closed position until the button is pressed and the clasp is pulled open.
