  • Patent number: 9047250
Abstract: A method of providing failover processing between a first element and a second element in a data communications network, the method comprising configuring a first channel and a second channel between the first and second elements, the first and second channels comprising different physical data paths, receiving at the first element, via the first channel, first data signals representative of functioning statuses of the second element, the first channel being configured to allow a non-optimal, partly functioning status of the second element to be communicated to the first element; and receiving at the first element, via the second channel, second data signals representative of functioning statuses of the second element, the second channel being configured to allow a failed functioning status of the second element to be communicated to the first element; and conducting failover processing based on both the first and second data signals.

  • Publication number: 20050239921
Abstract: One aspect of the invention is to provide a composition comprising a titanium dioxide particle having on the surface of said particle a substantially encapsulating layer comprising a pyrogenically-deposited metal oxide; said substantially encapsulating layer having on its surface at least one organic surface treatment material selected from an organo-silane, an organo-siloxane, a fluoro-silane, an organo-phosphonate, an organo-acid phosphate, an organo-pyrophosphate, an organo-polyphosphate, an organo-metaphosphate, an organo-phosphinate, an organo-sulfonic compound, a hydrocarbon-based carboxylic acid, an associated ester of a hydrocarbon-based carboxylic acid, a derivative of a hydrocarbon-based carboxylic acid, a hydrocarbon-based amide, a low molecular weight hydrocarbon wax, a low molecular weight polyolefin, a co-polymer of a low molecular weight polyolefin, a hydrocarbon-based polyol, a derivative of a hydrocarbon-based polyol, an alkanolamine, a derivative of an alkanolamine, an organic dispersing age

  • Patent number: 5939676
Abstract: An electrical cable penetration seal apparatus which includes a compliant module having an inner and outer regions of different durometer characteristics. In some forms of the invention the outer regions are generally planar and disposed on opposed sides of the compliant module. The outer regions are manufactured of a relatively high durometer elastomer than an inner region which is made from a lower durometer elastomer.

  • Patent number: 5785610
Abstract: A new clubhead having a plurality of grooves extending between defined boundaries on the face surface of the clubhead has been developed. In one embodiment, two groups of grooves are arranged to only intersect at a vertical boundary that intersects the center of the sweet spot on the face surface to form a chevron pattern within the define boundaries. In an alternate embodiment, the two groups of grooves traverse fully across the defined grooved area of the face surface to intersect to form a plurality of parallelogram-shaped areas within the grooved area.

  • Patent number: 5416271
Abstract: An electrical cable penetration seal apparatus which includes a compliant module having an inner and outer regions of different durometer characteristics. In some forms of the invention the outer region has a higher durometer elastomer and a central region which is made from a lower durometer elastomer. The compliant module has an outer rectangular cross-section and the central region is a cylindrically shaped in some forms of the invention.
