  • Patent number: 11219873
Abstract: A method and apparatus for carbonating a liquid in a pressurizable vessel, including first connecting a vessel with a carbon dioxide tank, wherein said vessel contains a liquid. A vessel can then be pressurized with carbon dioxide to a desired pressure. A pump or compressor can be activated to circulate gas through a hose out of the head space of the vessel to a carbonating stone back into the vessel. After a pre-determined period of time the pump is deactivated, and the carbon dioxide can cease to be introduced to the liquid within the vessel.

  • Patent number: 10767147
Abstract: A modular wireless brewing sensor comprising a processor housing. The processor housing has a power source, a processing means, an antenna and a RF transmitter. A separable probe housing can be coupled to the processor housing. The probe housing can comprise a probe, a fitting, a seal element, and a fitting fastener. A modular wireless brewing sensor can be communicatively connected to a control system that can provide a user real-time feedback on the environmental conditions within a brewing vessel. A brewing system can be used to control other brewing apparatuses, such as a burner or pump upon the environmental conditions exceeding pre-determined thresholds set in the control system by a user.

  • Patent number: 10551072
Abstract: A strategic heat shield and burner assembly configured to reduce the heat of the surface of a vessel for food preparation, and particularly for brewing beer. The reduction in heat dramatically improves the longevity of the instrumentation affixed to the surface of the vessel and the safety of the brewing vessel to users in proximity to the vessel during operation.

  • Patent number: 10456757
Abstract: A method and apparatus for carbonating a liquid in a pressurizable vessel, including first connecting a vessel with a carbon dioxide tank, wherein said vessel contains a liquid. A vessel can then be pressurized with carbon dioxide to a desired first pressure. A pump is activated to circulate the liquid through a hose out of the vessel to a fitting assembly and out of the fitting assembly back into the vessel. While the liquid is flowing through the fitting assembly carbon dioxide is introduced to the liquid at a second pressure level, wherein the second pressure is greater than said first pressure. After a pre-determined period of time the pump is deactivated and the carbon dioxide can cease to be introduced to the liquid flowing through the fitting assembly.

  • Patent number: 10351407
Abstract: An enhanced bottle filler assembly for filling bottles with a liquid from a pressurized vessel into an unpressurized vessel. In a preferred embodiment a molded body has a fitting housing and a grip formed perpendicular to one another. A grip passage interposing the grip, a valve actuator interposing the grip passage, a housing passage interposing the fitting housing, wherein said housing passage is fluidly connected to the grip passage. Two tubes are placed inside each other forming an annulus where a compressed gas can be forced to the bottom of a vessel to purge the vessel of oxygen. A sealing mechanism allows a liquid to flow into the bottle when trigger is pulled.

  • Patent number: 10005993
Abstract: A combined fermentor and press assembly. The combined fermentor and press assembly includes a pot, container or bag having a preestablished volume “V” defined therein. A must and a future pomace being positioned in said preestablished volume “V”. A drain space “DS” defined within the preestablished volume “V” and a drain system, consisting of tubes and valves connected to a receptacle and a pump drawing a liquid from the must and the future pomace.

  • Publication number: 20070023100
Abstract: An improved bottle filler assembly for filling bottles from kegged carbonated or non carbonated beverages without carbonation loss or oxidation that is intuitive to use, sanitize, and keep free of bacteria. In the preferred embodiment, a long hose gradually reduces the pressure of the beverage on the way to the filler. Two tubes are placed inside each other forming an annulus where CO2 can be forced to the bottom of the bottle via a CO2 valve thereby purging the bottle of air (O2). A valve seat placed on the bottom of the tubes allows the beverage to flow into the bottle from the bottom by depressing a trigger.

  • Publication number: 20050279214
Abstract: An improved homebrewing conical fermentor having pressure capability for CO2 pumping and carbonation, without welding onto the tank, which can lead to contamination of the fermenting product. In addition, the fermentor support legs remain permanently affixed to the tank without introducing any welding flaws on the inside of the tank. A removable access hatch is provided, again without any welding onto the tank lid. A lid seal is provided with a bead that improves sealing capability against the tank lip. Lastly, a removable lid design utilizing a band clamp that eliminates the need to weld the lid to the tank and allows for easy access to the interior of the fermentor for cleaning and sanitation.
