  • Patent number: 11931809
Abstract: An apparatus for the production of nanoparticles is provided. The apparatus includes a main tube that is closed at a bottom, an inlet channel arranged within the main tube and includes a first opening to the outside of the apparatus and a second opening to the main tube, and a main opening in the main tube. The main tube includes a sample position at the bottom, the cross section of the main tube at the sample position is smaller than at other positions of the main tube, and the second opening of the inlet channel is arranged closer to the sample position than the main opening. Furthermore, an arrangement for the production of nanoparticles and a method for producing nanoparticles are provided.

  • Publication number: 20070281625
Abstract: A communication apparatus comprises a communication path capable of conveying communication signals, a communication device adapted to receive or generate VHF or LTHF communication signals, and a near field antenna associated with the communication device. The near field antenna is provided sufficiently near to the communication path to couple VHF or UHF communication signals to or from the communication device to the communication path. A HID/IPT system and a communication method are also provided.

  • Publication number: 20070120421
Abstract: A pick-up is provided for an Inductively Coupled Power Transfer (ICPT) system having a parallel tuned resonant pick-up circuit. The pick-up has a plurality of independently controllable power supply outputs. This allows a first output to supply a high voltage load (e.g. 300V-550V) and one or more additional outputs for supplying other loads such as control circuitry which may only require 24V. The one or more additional outputs may be supplied via a current transformer connected in series with the resonant pick-up circuit. Control for each output may be achieved by partially or completely decoupling the pick-up from a primary conductive path of the ICPT system.

  • Publication number: 20060082324
Abstract: Power taken inductively from the alternating current in a track is received by a resonant circuit which is output controlled by a switching circuit asynchronous with the frequency of the power supply. The switch on and off time is controlled to regulate the output power and the circuit is such that on light loads the resonant circuit decouples from the track.
