  • Publication number: 20160171080
Abstract: System and methods are disclosed that attempt to verify data related to a parcel against mapping and addressing data. If the data cannot be verified, then an enhanced normalization process may be performed. The enhanced normalization process may attempt to group the parcel with some other parcels based on parcel characteristics. If the grouping is successful, then normalization may be performed on the grouping. Normalization may involve checking whether the grouping satisfies a set of grouping criteria.
    Type: Application
    Filed: February 23, 2016
    Publication date: June 16, 2016
Inventors: Derek John BROUWER, II, Peter A. NAGY, Sunkyu HWANG

  • Patent number: 5815969
Abstract: A sign for indicating that assistance is required by a person in a vehicle. The sign has a body attachable to the exterior of the vehicle by a person inside the vehicle. The sign body contains an electric light connected by electrical wiring to an electrical plug insertable into an electrical socket in the vehicle. The electrical wiring includes an electrical flasher connected thereto, and the sign body has a message thereon. When the plug is inserted into the socket and the sign body is attached to the exterior of the vehicle, the light within the sign body flashes to cause the message to be readily visible to passers-by.

  • Patent number: 4735134
Abstract: The present invention provides a system including method and apparatus for storing living plants or produce, and in particular, tuberous-type plants, such as potatoes and carrots in the dormant stage. The method comprises collecting the plants in a storage area and then creating a storage area vapor pressure, which at least substantially prevents a loss of moisture from the plants to the air in the storage area and additionally providing an exchange of air between the storage area and the supply of air outside the storage area to replenish oxygen consumed and to dispose of carbon dioxide given off by respiration of the plants.
