Publication number: 20240307656Abstract: A catheter includes a catheter body, a first lumen extending through the catheter body, one or more second lumens extending through the catheter body, and two or more capillaries extending from the catheter body and coupled to the second lumens. The first lumen performs at least one of receiving a sample of the blood from a vasculature of the patient or measuring a parameter of the blood. The second lumens receive a gas enriched liquid from a gas enriched liquid source. The capillaries receive the gas enriched liquid from the one or more second lumens and to simultaneously dispense respective streams of the gas enriched liquid directly into the vasculature, such that the streams of the gas enriched liquid intersect and mix with the blood in a region beyond an end of the catheter body and beyond the first lumen.Type: ApplicationFiled: February 18, 2022Publication date: September 19, 2024Inventors: Stephen Myrick, Jeffrey Creech, Jeremy Dabrowiak, John Buckley, Masoumeh Mafi

Patent number: 6814889Abstract: The invention relates to conductive heaters, and has its objective to provide a material that exhibits a uniform heating effect over the full area of the heater, relatively free from hot and cold spots, a further objective being to maintain the heater pliable. These objectives are met by a conductive material comprising finely divided carbon particles uniformly dispersed in an elastomeric carrier there being carbon particle levels of 20% to 75% by dry weight to carrier levels. Preferably, the carrier is an elastomeric polymer.Type: GrantFiled: June 1, 2001Date of Patent: November 9, 2004Assignee: Inditherm PLCInventors: Patrick James O'Grady, John Buckley

Publication number: 20040025039Abstract: Security systems and methods control access at remote locations protected by electronic locks. Users open or otherwise manipulate an electronic lock via an electronic key device. The electronic key device may be an open architecture PDA programmed to function as an electronic key device, while retaining its general-purpose PDA functionality. Alternatively, the electronic key device may be a special-purpose device designed to function as an electronic key device. The key device and the lock box communicate with each other, preferably, by infrared techniques. The lock box and the key device are administered by a central authority via a central computer, which coordinates all security measures through the use of, e.g., frequent updates; tokens that the key device cannot read; checksums, including Message Authentication Codes; and encryption. A plurality of key devices may be programmed to open the same lock box. A key device may open a plurality of lock boxes.Type: ApplicationFiled: March 6, 2003Publication date: February 5, 2004Inventors: Adam Kuenzi, Susan Langford, Ron Chapin, John Buckley, Dirk L Bellamy, Anton K Diedrich

Patent number: 4805327Abstract: A foldable board is useful for developing, presenting to clients and storing key video and audio portions of proposed TV commercials. The board preferably has three panels joined together by a decorative backing or cover and foldable along vertical lines. Each panel has a front facing having two or more vertically spaced windows cut out in the shape of a TV screen and adjacent the window is a slot through which a sketch of a TV scene may be inserted. Below each window is space to attach a label bearing an audio statement corresponding to the video scene in the window. Behind the facing is a sheet of vinyl or other material and behind the vinyl is a stiffener of cardboard or the like. Each sketch is inserted through the appropriate slit and adheres to the vinyl by friction and tight fit. Scenes and labels may be changed as production of the commercial develops.Type: GrantFiled: August 27, 1987Date of Patent: February 21, 1989Inventor: John Buckley
