Publication number: 20090252911Abstract: A double-sided adhesive sheet (10) that is comprised of a substrate (12) having a front surface (14), a rear surface (16), an upper edge (18), a lower edge (20), a right edge (22) and a left edge (24). Applied to the front surface (14) is an adhesive (30) and a front peel-off liner (38), and applied to the rear surface (16) is also an adhesive (30) and a rear peel-off liner (42). The adhesive (30) is preferably low-tack adhesive (32) although high-tack adhesive (34) can also be utilized. Extending through the front and rear surfaces (14,16) are a multiplicity of openings (46). When the rear peel-off liner (42) is removed, the adhesive sheet (10) can be removably attached to a vertical or horizontal surface (56). Patent number: 7339465Abstract: A vehicle-to-trailer light-connection verification tester (10) designed to be located within a towing vehicle (20), a towed trailer (30) or within a cable adapter (24) that is connected between the vehicle (20) and the trailer (30). The tester (10) features an electronics circuit (12) that includes a plug (P1), a receptacle (J2), a three-position mode switch (S1), a plurality of isolation diodes (D1-D4), and a loudspeaker (LS1). The mode switch (S1) has a vehicle test position V, a trailer test position T, and a normal lighting position N. When the switch (S1) is in the vehicle test position the rear vehicle lights are tested and when the switch (S1) is in the trailer test position (T) the rear trailer lights are tested. If each light in either the vehicle (20) or the trailer (30) is operational the loudspeaker (LS1) produces an audible sound. The sub-assembly (80) consists of an external heat conducting plate (82), and an enclosure-internal heat conductive horizontal structure (110) that is attached to the plate (82) through a heat conductive vertical rod (98). When heated vehicle exhaust gases pass through the enclosure (12), the gases heat the structure (110) and the heat is then transferred to the plate (92) via the rod (98). The heat from the plate (82) is transferred to a peltier device (132) that interfaces with the plate (82). The hitch (20) consists of a pair of forward and aft mounting brackets (22 and 24) that are connected into existing holes in the vehicle's frame. Each mounting bracket has flanges (22? and 24?) with the aft brackets (24) having thru-holes (26) arranged in a bolt circle array. The pair of forward mounting brackets (22) are connected to the aft mounting brackets (24) for length adjustment of the trailer hitch relative to the hitch position on the motor vehicle. The height of the trailer hitch (20) is regulated by the right side up or upside down position of the aft mounting brackets (24) properly orienting the thru-holes. The wheel cover (20) includes a base mounting plate (26) that is removably attached to a wheel (22) using conventional methods. A face plate (38), which is configured to partially cover the tire sidewall as well as a central portion of a wheel, is positioned on top of the base mounting plate (26). The mounting plate (26) is attached to the face plate (38) in a spring-loaded manner, which continually urges the face plate (38) to be in contact with the side wall of the tire (24). The spring-loading arrangement permits the face plate (38) to yield when the tire bulges due to weight induced distortion or road hazard impact. The face plate (38) gives way at the tire bulge and yet retains contiguous engagement with the tire. The cup (32) followed by the compression washer (68) is then inserted over the antenna (90) and the cup (32) is attached to a cup attachment cavity (60) located on the structure (42). When the vehicle is not towing a trailer the receiver cover (12) is hingedly pressed against the opening of the ball-mount receiver (120). When a ball-mount (130) is to be used, the receiver cover (12) is rotated downward from its closed position into an open position which remains open due to the detent action of the hinge (50). A bolt (74) is inserted through the bracket and wedge member and tightened into the nut applying a continuous compressive force wedging the cleat between a fulcrum flange (44) integral with the bracket and the side rails holding the invention securely in place with no modification to the truck bed. A second embodiment omits the latch plate and utilizes only one arm (32') in a horizontal position.
