Also disclosed is a deodorant dispenser, comprising: a body having a cavity for receiving a first portion of the refill cartridge; a device within the cavity and extending along at least a portion of an edge region of the cavity for puncturing the seal of the refill cartridge as the first portion of the refill cartridge is received in the cavity of the body; and an applicator for applying the fluid deodorant composition to a user at an exterior of the dispenser.

Abstract: A system and method for producing a fragrance. The system may include body having a plurality of chambers defined therein. Each chamber may include a fragrance accord. A circuit and a plurality of emitters may be positioned within the body. The emitters may be connected to and controlled by the circuit, and each of the emitters may be positioned adjacent to a corresponding one of the chambers and control ejection of the fragrance accord therein.

The container seal includes at least a base layer, and may further include a polymer layer attached to the base layer at one or more locations. The container seal may further include a pull tab. Pulling the pull tab forms an opening within the base layer. Various seal configurations allow one, two, or more different sized openings from which to dispense a liquid product from the container depending, for example, on the user's preferred method of dispensing the liquid product from the container. In one configuration, a pull tab may form one, two, or three or more openings in the container seal.

Abstract: A stick product dispensing system is disclosed which prospectively provides an advance or early warning to a user that the product will soon be depleted. In one embodiment, the product dispensing system includes a dispenser (10) having a tubular barrel (20) with an open end (24), a solid stick product (12) disposed in the barrel (20), and a moveable platform (40) disposed in the barrel (20) for supporting and dispensing the product (12) through the open end (24). The platform (40) includes a plurality of spaced apart indicator protrusions (100) extending outwards from the platform (40) forming interstitial spaces holding a reserve amount of product. After repeated uses of the dispenser, the protrusions (100) eventually emerge from the top of the stick product (12) signaling the user that one or a few additional applications remain. This allows the user to purchase another dispenser in advance to avoid running out of product. In one embodiment, the product may be a deodorant/anti-perspirant.
