Abstract: A movable storage system has one or more storage units, a plurality of flexible track elements conformable with an irregular supporting surface, and an individual base structure which supports each storage unit for movement along the track elements through roller members associated with particular track elements. The flexible track elements have a pair of cylindrical longitudinally extending track members supported by a flexible base. The roller members or wheels have a generally U-shaped external contour which encompasses the track elements and prevents derailing of the storage units.
