    Abstract: A shock and vibration isolator having a diaphragm and a bumper attached to the diaphragm. The bumper is also provided with a damper attached to the bumper. The isolator has an internal chamber in which an incompressible fluid and a compressible fluid within the chamber are in contact with each other and in which the damper is submerged. The diaphragm has a flexible fabric imbedded in the diaphragm and extending into the sidewall.
