  • Patent number: 8741487
Abstract: A current collector comprising a frame conductor formed as a closed undulating perimeter, and a conductive mesh formed within the frame conductor is described. The conductive mesh is comprised of a plurality of radial struts, each radial strut having a central end and an outer end. The radial struts emanate from a junction within the undulating perimeter with their outer ends connected to the undulating perimeter of the frame. The conductive mesh may include branch struts having proximal ends and distal ends, with the proximal ends connected to the radial struts. The distal ends of the branch struts may be connected to the undulating perimeter, or to adjacent radial struts. The current collector is used in an electrochemical cell, wherein a first electrode active material is contacted to at least one of first and second major sides of the current collector to provide a first electrode.

  • Patent number: 7832742
Abstract: One embodiment of a foot or boot mounting for a sportboard such as a snowboard, wakeboard, mountainboard, surfboard, kiteboard, or similar article, having a tilted base plate (72) with a bearing raceway (73B) or other means providing an axis of rotation that is inclined by a predetermined angular amount (?), pivotably guiding a tilted rotating plate (86) that has a top surface (87T) tilted with respect to its axis of rotation by a predetermined angular amount (?). Top surface (87T) provides direct or indirect support for the bottom surface of a rider's foot. The tilt of top surface (87T) is aligned relative to its axis of rotation such that the upward tilted portion is generally aligned toward the inside of a rider's foot. Thus, a rider's feet and body members are aligned more naturally while the rider is free to continually rotate his or her feet and change posture more comfortably.

  • Patent number: 6257614
Abstract: A method of operation and sportingboard foot or boot binding system that has two pivot mount plates (74) which are able to rotate free of a sportingboard (68), and which are connected by a rotational transmission means to cooperatively rotate both pivot mount plates (74) in the same direction. The sportingboard (68) can be a snowboard, wakeboard, mountainboard, surfboard or similar device that utilizes foot or boot mounting means of rider attachment. Braking or limiting devices can be employed to control the rotation of pivot mount plates (74).

  • Patent number: 6019228
Abstract: A modular deck support framework system employing support tray framework sections for vibrating screens having an essentially rectangular outlined perimeter framework. Each support tray perimeter framework has at least: two opposed side framework members and a square cut cross-angle 50, or notched end angle 62, as a feed end cross framework member; and a square cut flat stock 52 or curved top flat stock 52C as a discharge end cross framework member. Square cut cross-angle 50 is oriented such that square cut cross-angle upper leg 50U is pointing essentially upwards and essentially perpendicular to the flow of particles over support trays, and square cut cross angle lower leg 50L is pointing essentially with the flow of particles over support trays. Notched end angle 62 is oriented similarly whenever employed.

  • Patent number: 5931310
Abstract: A deck support framework system, being sectioned or modular, having one or more flooded support tubes 30A/30B. Flooded support tube 30A/30B is oriented essentially horizontal and attached at sides of a deck framework, aligned with fluid passage hole small 34A or threaded input hole 102 in the sides of a deck framework, allowing for the spraying of fluids through flooded support tube 30A/30B which has fluid exit holes 34B. Additionally or alternately a structural support for a vibrating screen or similar device, having one or more flooded support tubes 30A/30B, and having attached end members having fluid passage holes small 34A or threaded input hole 102, and having flat planar sides uttermost, or nearly so, with attached end members located at the open end portions of flooded support tube 30A/30B enabling the mounting of such a flooded structural support to vibrating screen side walls 50. Fastener holes are positioned as needed for both structural and fluid supply considerations in mating components.
