Abstract: An alternative work space assignment system, method and apparatus are disclosed. This system accesses a plurality of databases, including a workspace database, a building database, and a corporate database, to better select a suitable temporary workspace. In addition, the system can also select a suitable temporary workspace based on a user's preferences, which can be entered through a kiosk, or otherwise stored in a database record associated with the user.

Abstract: A car pool software package is disclosed. The software suggests potential car pool partners by scanning a database of commuters, such as an employee database, as well as a facility database to determine arrival and departure times. An ordered list of potential car pool partners is then generated and forwarded to interested commuters. Pollution savings may be calculated and reported to an appropriate agency in exchange for credits to offset other pollution or trade on the open market.

Abstract: A building data monitoring software system with keyword search capability is disclosed. Different building data points are gathered by a monitoring computer, which generates reports. Metadata is associated with reports and data points that are to be user accessible. A user inputs a search string using a web browser or other input mechanism, and a list of search results, comprising data points and reports matching the search string are returned.
