A series of Agree and Disagree statements regarding issues of interest are presented to the examinee in an audio format as by text-to-speech narration. Each statement must include an introductory phrase, topic phrase and declaration phrase. As statements are presented, a neutral image is presented on a visual display, then replaced by an image prompting the examinee to provide a response when the statement concludes. The eye tracker measures and records eye movements during the test. For the test, the mobile device is positioned so that the camera captures an image of at least one eye of the examinee. The examinee's face may be illuminated by a light on the mobile device and the mobile device held steady as a test is conducted. A series of “True” and “False” statements regarding relevant issues, including the issue of interest are presented to the examinee in an audio format by the mobile device. The examinee provides a spoken response when the statement concludes. The mobile device camera records data during the test. Publication number: 20100324454Abstract: Embodiments of the present invention relate to a rapid, automated, and objective method for using oculomotor measures to determine whether a person is being truthful or deceitful. More specifically, embodiments of the present invention measure a plurality of oculomotor and behavioral dependent measures while a subject reads and responds to written items that are both related and unrelated to a suspected crime. The oculomotor and behavioral measures may include pupil diameter, response times, the number of fixations during reading, the time spent reading and rereading items, and the rate of eye blinks on the current and subsequent item.
