  • Publication number: 20100313513
Abstract: A construction block for use with other like construction blocks to build a retaining wall has a “bullet shaped” front with a pair of angled forward surfaces joining the front surface to the sides, and forming a 45° angle with the front and side surfaces. At least one hole is located in the front portion of the block, passing vertically through the block from the top through the bottom. The rear portion of the block is shaped to receive the front end of a corresponding block when two of said blocks are placed in a front-to-end orientation, and includes an indent defining a second hole extending through the block when two blocks are placed in a front-to-end orientation. Multiple front holes and multiple rear holes may be provided.

  • Publication number: 20080184648
Abstract: A construction block for use with other like construction blocks to build a retaining wall. The block has substantially parallel top and bottom surfaces, and two substantially parallel sides. The front of the block is “bullet shaped,” with a front nose surface being substantially perpendicular to the top, bottom, and side surfaces. Angled front sides join the nose surface to the sides, forming a 45° angle with the front and side surfaces. The rear portion of the block is generally a mirror of the front portion, with a rear surface that is substantially parallel to the front nose surface and substantially perpendicular to the top, bottom, and side surfaces. Angled rear “tail” surfaces connect the side surfaces to the rear surface at a 45° angle. The edges where the top surface joins the side and front surfaces may be beveled. At least one hole is located in the front portion of the block, passing vertically through the block from the top surface through the bottom surface.

  • Patent number: 5537796
Abstract: A construction block is disclosed having integral pins upstanding from its top surface and C-shaped slots adjacent to the pins extending through the block between its top and bottom surfaces. The block interlocks with other like blocks with the pins of the block being adjustably received in corresponding slots of the other like blocks. The slots are configured so that the blocks may be adjusted relative to each other to form both a straight wall and a set back wall.

  • Patent number: 4996813
Abstract: A longitudinal sound block with eight sides or ten sides for use in concrete wall systems and reinforced wall systems. The sound block is used for sound barriers, privacy walls, and retaining walls. The front end of the sound block is a bullet-like nose. A rear end of the sound block receives the front end in a plane configuration or angled configuration.
