    Abstract: A stretch kit for a fence having an end post and a horizontal brace. The stretch kit has a stretch mechanism that mounts to and extends upwardly from the horizontal brace. The stretch mechanism slides along the horizontal brace to a stretch specification position. Stretch specification markings on a marking bar may indicate the stretch specification position. A slide mechanism of the stretch kit may receive the horizontal brace and guide movement of the stretch mechanism. Positioning the stretch mechanism at the stretch specification position tensions a plurality of fence wires attached to the stretch mechanism. A plurality of springs mounted between the end post and the stretch mechanism maintains the stretch mechanism upon the horizontal brace relative to the end post at the stretch specification position against the tensioned fence wires.

A plurality of containers are moved about a path with increased retention time through a plurality of stations: a receiving station, one or more sanitizing stations, and a dispensing station, and a container cleaning station. A pre-measured unit measured for packaging is received at the receiving station into a container. The pre-measured unit is exposed to one or more sanitizing agents at one or more sanitizing stations. The pre-measured unit is immediately packaged after sanitization. The pre-measured unit is dispensed into a packaging device at the dispensing station. The containers are then cleaned at the container cleaning station to prepare each container to receive a subsequent pre-measured unit of the pre-sanitized flowable feed product.

    Abstract: An automated method for processing a variable flow of an incoming viscera stream from a carcass processing facility. A cooling fluid is used to convey and cool the incoming viscera stream from an eviscerating site to an attached modular facility. The viscera stream is directed by the cooling fluid towards a divert valve and diverted between modular facilities based on a comparison of the flow rate of the incoming viscera stream with the processing capacity of the modular facility. The divert valve can divert the viscera stream to finished feed processing equipment when flow rates exceed a minimum flow rate. Flow rates below the minimum flow rate are directed to an ingredient stream. A cooked product of the viscera stream can be cooled using wastewater from the cooling fluid. The cooled product can be stored without refrigeration at the modular facility.
