    Abstract: A rearing unit for farm animals formed of a closed body having cages mounted along the sides thereof in which the animals are disposed and constrained, air inlets formed in the roof of the body along the center line thereof and air outlet formed in the floor of the unit at the sides thereof, said air outlets are connected to an air extraction fan or fans disposed so that the air which is withdrawn from the body of the unit is expelled beneath the unit.
