  • Publication number: 20220097028
Abstract: A process for preparing a silver-containing catalyst for the selective oxidation of ethylene to ethylene oxide including the steps of: (a) providing a multimodal support, (b) preparing an impregnation solution comprising a silver component, (c) impregnating, at least once, the multimodal support of step (a) with the silver-containing impregnation solution of step (b) to form an impregnated support; (d) subjecting the impregnated multimodal support from step (c) to a removal means, such as a centrifuge, at least once, for a time sufficient to remove impregnated silver impregnation solution from the multimodal support and to control the amount of silver in the pores of the multimodal support by selectively removing impregnated silver impregnation solution from a set of larger pores in the multimodal support; (e) roasting, at least once, the multimodal support after the step (d); (f) optionally, repeating the impregnation step (c), (g) optionally, repeating the centrifugation step (d), and (h) optionally, repeat

  • Publication number: 20180212565
Abstract: A photovoltaic array system comprising: (a) a plurality of photovoltaic components that are configured to be connected together; and (b) one or more alignment features located on at least two of the plurality of photovoltaic components; wherein the one or more alignment features are located in a side edge region of at least one of the plurality of photovoltaic components and in a top edge region of at least one of the plurality of photovoltaic components, and the one or more alignment features indicate when two or more of the plurality of photovoltaic components are aligned relative to each other so that the two or more photovoltaic components can be mated together to form a fixed connection.

  • Publication number: 20170201205
Abstract: Photovoltaic Devices with Sealant Layer and Laminate Assembly for Improved Wet Insulation Resistance A photovoltaic device comprising: a polymeric frame; one or more photovoltaic cells that include one or more electric circus assemblies; one or more connector assemblies comprising: (I) one or more terminals (24), (ii) a connector body disposed about the one or more terminals, and (iii) a sealant layer (28) that is disposed about the connector body (26); wherein the one or more connector assemblies are in electrical communication with the one or more electric circuit assemblies and the one or more electronic circuit assemblies are at least partially encased in the polymeric frame; and wherein the sealant layer has sufficient heat resistance that the sealant layer will not reflow during lamination and/or injection molding.

  • Patent number: 9281595
Abstract: A connector system is configured for macro motion. Two mating terminals are configured so that during macro motion cycles, the resistance between two terminals does not substantially increase. One terminal can have multiple, somewhat spherical-shaped mating surfaces while a mating surface on the other terminal can be flat. The mating terminals can be configured to provide desirable resistance performance after more than 5000 cycles of macro motion.
