Abstract: A spirit level light adapter assembly having a housing which is securable to a spirit level. The adapter has a pair of flexible, resilient, light supports which are extendable from an opening at each end of said housing. The housing contains a battery, a switch and a circuit connecting light emitting components in the end of each light support. The housing is securable to any size spirit level to permit the sight openings and/or the work element to be illuminated.
