Abstract: A differential amplifier is disclosed with harmonic terminations. The differential amplifier has a first transistor having a first emitter coupled to a fixed voltage node, a first base, and a first collector. A second transistor has a second emitter coupled to the fixed voltage node, a second base, and a second collector. A first capacitor and a first inductor are coupled in series between the first collector and a virtual ground node. A second inductor and a second capacitor are coupled in series between the second collector and the virtual ground node, and a third inductor is coupled between the virtual ground node and the fixed voltage node. The first and second capacitors and first, second, and third inductors have capacitances and inductances, respectively, that are sized to realize second and third harmonic traps for a radio frequency signal being amplified by the differential amplifier.

Abstract: An apparatus includes a cascode amplifier and an electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit. The cascode amplifier includes a common source device and a common gate device. The electrostatic discharge (ESD) protection circuit includes a device channel coupled between a drain and a gate of the common gate device. The device channel provides a short circuit between the drain and gate of the common gate device when the cascade amplifier is unbiased.

Abstract: An apparatus and method for cleaning and polishing the yarn heater track of a yarn processing machine which includes guiding a rotating abrasion wheel along the yarn heater slot to dislodge the accumulated deposits and while simultaneously directing a fluid stream or mist into the slot to aid in removal of the dislodged deposits from the slot. The apparatus is portable and can be easily moved from one yarn processing station to the next station of a yarn processing machine and can be operated without requiring a drastic reduction in the amount of heat in the heater block.
