Abstract: An apparatus for placing and retrieving golf tees and golf balls wherein both the tee and the ball are retained by different resilient members gripping the same until actuation of the apparatus to release them.

Abstract: A strip material feed guide including elongated rod-like guide elements which extend longitudinally of the path of travel of a material strip to guide such a material strip by engaging opposed surfaces thereof, and including selectively adjustable supports for the rod-like guide elements which permit the selective positioning thereof laterally with respect to the strip material being guided thereby.

Abstract: A continuous metal strip is fed lengthwise along a line of dies intermittently from one end of the line to the other beneath a vertically reciprocating ram carrying a plurality of punches that are slidable vertically in the ram from a projecting operating position to a retracted inoperative position. Each punch is selectively movable automatically from either of those positions to the other independently of the rest of the punches so that different punches can punch a strip at different times while the strip is passing through the press.

Abstract: A longitudinally adjustable stock guide is provided for installation between the entrance end of the bottom die support of a stamping or punch press and the adjacent side of the press. The guide includes upper and lower rows of horizontal rigid arms, with means pivotally connecting the arms in each row end to end on vertical axes. The arms extend back and forth in a zigzag configuration, with each arm in the lower row being directly below an arm in the upper row and spaced from it to form a slot between them. The outer ends of the arms at one end of the rows are adapted to be pivotally attached to the entrance end of a bottom die support, and the outer ends of the arms at the opposite ends of the rows are adapted to be pivotally attached to the press. The slots between the upper and lower rows of arms form a guide passage for stock that has entered the press.
