  • Publication number: 20240155344
Abstract: A controller coupled to plural mobile devices through a mobile communications environment including multiple available networks at a location remote from the plural mobile devices. The plural mobile devices are simultaneously connected to plural networks and collecting network data for each simultaneously connected plural multiple networks. The controller includes a receiver receiving from each mobile device the collected network data, where each mobile device is connected to the receiver via an active one of the simultaneously connected plural multiple networks for transmitting the collected network data; a processor configured to evaluate the collected network data from each mobile device and, based upon respective rules established for each mobile device, to produce respective sets of operating parameters for the plural mobile devices; and a transmitter to transmit to each mobile device the respective sets of operating parameters.

  • Patent number: 11917408
Abstract: A controller and method of controlling a mobile device. The controller is coupled to a mobile device through a mobile communications environment. The controller is coupled to the mobile communications environment at a location remote from the mobile device, and includes a receiver that receives data from the mobile device, a processor that evaluates the data received from the mobile device based upon rules for the mobile device, and a transmitter that sends data to the mobile device to at least one of alert the user to a condition and modify current operating parameters on the mobile device.

  • Publication number: 20170091882
Abstract: Embodiments include method, systems and computer program products for automated menu planning for an event via a social network. Aspects include receiving a request for an event from a host via the social network and identifying a plurality of attendees for the event and one or more of a food preference and a food restriction for one or more of the plurality of attendees. Aspects further include determining a menu for the event based on the one or more of the food preference and the food restriction for the one or more of the plurality of attendees, wherein the menu includes a general set of constraints on a type of food that can be served at the event that will meet the food preference and the food restriction for the one or more of the plurality of attendees.

  • Patent number: 6504410
Abstract: A storage cell of an integrated circuit is operable in a radiation environment to capture and store at predetermined time intervals a time sample of a data input signal. A signal representative of the stored data sample for each time interval is generated at an output of the storage cell. At least three data capturing circuits operate to capture and store a time sample of the data input signal at each predetermined time interval, the stored data sample of each circuit being generated correspondingly at an output thereof. Coupled to the outputs of the data capturing circuits is a circuit for generating a signal representative of a stored data sample selected from at least two of the circuit outputs. Also coupled to the data capturing circuits is a circuit for causing each data capturing circuit to capture a different time sample of the input data signal from the other data capturing circuits over each predetermined time interval.

  • Publication number: 20020147955
Abstract: An internal memory section of a digital processing system protectable by error detection and correction (EDAC) codes comprises at least one bank of registers for storing digital words and EDAC codes corresponding thereto. An EDAC code is generated for each digital word stored in a register of the at least one bank and the stored digital words of the at least one bank are checked with their EDAC codes. Also disclosed is a method of accessing digital words protectable by EDAC codes in a digital processing system which comprises the steps of: storing digital words and EDAC codes corresponding thereto in at least one bank of registers of an internal memory of the system; generating an EDAC code for each digital word upon storage; reading digital words and their corresponding EDAC codes from designated registers of the at least one bank; and checking the read digital words with their EDAC codes.
