  • Patent number: 8907958
Abstract: A method and apparatus for providing rendering of subsections of screen space receives render commands associated with different screen subsections, such as from a command buffer populated by a coprocessor, and determines which screen section is currently being rendered by a rendering engine, or stated another way, which screen section the host processor wishes to have rendered, and evaluates screen subsection data that is associated with a received rendering command. The screen subsection data identifies a screen subsection for which the command refers. The method includes executing the command if it is determined that the command refers to a current screen section being rendered.

  • Publication number: 20130103767
Abstract: Feedback is provided to sources of information entities regarding subsequent utilization of those entities, thereby providing a measure of control through feedback loops that can include incentives or disincentives for specific tasks performed on entities, or tasks performed by specific services. An entity source, including intermediate sources and original authors of a cohesive collection of information that is an “entity”, provide those entities together with a return message template and an interface to which a return message is to be directed when a subsequent task is performed on that entity. Intermediate services, such as user agents, can add their own return message templates and interfaces to which return messages are to be directed. Subsequent performance of tasks on those entities comprises the creation and transmission of return messages to the interfaces specified and transmitted with the entity, thereby enabling prior systems to maintain logs of the utilization of an entity.

  • Patent number: 8411137
Abstract: A dual projection system utilizes a first projector and a second projector to project alternating left and right channel images of a 3D display. The projectors are inversely synchronized such that while the first projector projects a right channel image the other projector projects a left channel image. A projection filter in each projector has left channel properties when the image being projected is a left channel image and right channel properties when the image being projected is a right channel image. The images projected from each projector alternate between left and right channel images approximately once per frame.
