  • Patent number: 10491942
Abstract: Preferred placement of programming content is provided by a system and method to organize or sequence the display of a set of programmable content elements of an iTV application to a viewer, using business rules that describe the preferred placement conditions or criteria. Such criteria include brand, content owner, application location, current channel, current channel family, current channel category, time of day, content category, current program, current program genre, current iTV application, current content type, and/or subscriber and set-top box profile and behavior data. In one implementation, the present invention allows for managing the ‘shelf space’ within and for iTV applications.

  • Publication number: 20190200641
Abstract: The present disclosure relates to food compositions, particularly pet food compositions, having a high content of plant protein. The plant protein is prepared by processing Brewer's Spent Grain (BSG), having a moisture content of about 15% to about 35% by weight, so as to reduce the particle size of the BSG and separating the processed BSG so as to provide a low particle size, high protein fraction.

  • Patent number: 10331295
Abstract: A computer-implemented method for visualizing data about an object. A hierarchy of image blocks is generated using an action scheme and a part. Instructions identifying a hierarchy of image blocks and the action scheme are generated. The hierarchy of image blocks is communicated to a graphical user interface. An image area is identified in an image block in the hierarchy of image blocks in the graphical user interface. A query is generated to identify a location of the part within the object. The query is based on a type of search, a spatial region, and the action scheme. An indicator representing the location of the part identified by the query is displayed.

  • Publication number: 20190149881
Abstract: Controlling the admission of interactive television iTV applications to an iTV application distribution system is accomplished through the use of iTV application profiles that enumerate sets of allowed functions and behaviors for the iTV applications within the distribution system. In general, the profiles comprise filters that enable various functions within the distribution system, and may be applied to the iTV applications according to any of a number of bases. The distribution system includes an interface or console adapted to permit a system operator to create the application profiles and establish rules for attaching the profiles to the iTV applications, and an application profile engine configured to automatically validate the iTV applications against the profiles according to those rules.

  • Patent number: 10174679
Abstract: A method of controlling a startup sequence of a gas turbine. A turbine of the gas turbine may include a rotor that has a rotor velocity and a rotor acceleration during the startup sequence. The method may include the steps of: determining an originally scheduled startup duration for the gas turbine; measuring an intermediate rotor velocity at an intermediate time within the startup sequence; determining a recalculated remaining startup duration that is a duration calculated as necessary to achieve the final rotor velocity given the intermediate rotor velocity; determining a remaining portion of the originally scheduled startup duration based on the intermediate time; calculating a time multiplier based on a comparison of the recalculated remaining startup duration to the remaining portion of the originally scheduled startup duration; and scaling the rotor acceleration per the time multiplier for a duration until the final rotor velocity is achieved by the turbine.

  • Patent number: 10171624
Abstract: A method and system are disclosed for acquiring and transforming existing content (e.g., Hyper Text Markup Language HTML content) for display and execution on multiple platforms and architectures. In one embodiment, capture templates are created to harvest content from disparate content sources on multiple platforms. Data is extracted from the content from the disparate content sources using the created capture templates that drives extracting process. A standardized data stream is generated from the extracted data. The standardized data stream is provided for display on one or more different type of platforms.

  • Publication number: 20180300326
Abstract: A method and system for managing three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets. The method comprises compiling a vehicle list of vehicles for which the three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets are to be built. The method automatically builds the three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets for vehicles in the vehicle list using a computer system. The method stores the three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets in a group of repositories. The method distributes the three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets for displaying massive model visualizations for the vehicles using the three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets on client devices. The method may selectively update a three-dimensional massive model visualization data set in the three-dimensional massive model visualization data sets when the three-dimensional massive model visualization data set is out-of-date.
