Patent number: 11560256Abstract: A pallet assembly includes a support assembly and a base assembly. The support assembly has a deck molded from a plastic shell material and male fittings that extend away from a lower surface of said deck. The base assembly includes a stringer that defines a plurality of openings which extend through the entirety of the stringer. A female fitting extends completely through each of the openings in the stringer so that the base of each of the female fittings is flush with or extends beyond the bottom surface of said stringer. Each of the male fittings corresponds to a female fitting, attaching said support assembly to said base assembly.Type: GrantFiled: June 24, 2021Date of Patent: January 24, 2023Assignee: Paxxal Inc.Inventors: Omar Shawaf, Ezzeldin Elmassry, Moustapha Bahsoun, Michael Laible, Ben Stoller, John Charny, Ellwood Phillip Hunt, III, Thomas Richard Hopson, III

Publication number: 20200223107Abstract: A rotational mold system includes at least two molds. A mold cavity is defined in each of the molds and designed to receive molding material that is injected into the mold cavity. Each of the molds is heated using one or more electric heaters that are directly attached to the mold or attached to a separate platen that is in contact with the mold. The heat transferred to the molds melts the molding material within the mold cavities, allowing the molding material to coat the inside walls of the molds as the molds are rotated.Type: ApplicationFiled: December 18, 2019Publication date: July 16, 2020Applicant: Paxxal Inc.Inventors: Omar Shawaf, Ezzeldin Elmassry, Ben Stoller, John Charny, Ellwood Phillip Hunt, III, Thomas Richard Hopson, III

Patent number: 10589897Abstract: Certain embodiments of the present disclosure describe a pallet assembly having a support assembly and a stringer. The support assembly includes a deck and a plurality of blocks that extend from the deck. The deck and the blocks are unitarily formed to create a contiguous outer shell that defines a common internal space that is filled with a support material. The blocks include extension portions that correspond to openings defined in the stringer. The extensions are received in a corresponding opening to attach the stringer to the support assembly.Type: GrantFiled: August 13, 2018Date of Patent: March 17, 2020Assignee: Paxxal Inc.Inventors: Omar Shawaf, Ezzeldin Elmassry, Moustapha Bahsoun, Michael Laible, Ben Stoller, John Charny

Publication number: 20120118503Abstract: A deformable label processor and related methods are described. The processor is heated and urged against a label, such as a pressure sensitive heat shrink label, to apply the label onto a container or other surface. The processor and methods are well suited for application of labels onto compound curved surfaces. Also described are high volume label application processes using assemblies of multiple label processors. Additional assemblies and methods are described for selectively contacting and adhering regions of a label onto a moving container during labeling operations. Select regions of a label can be wiped to modify or alter label portions that are in contact and not in contact with the container. A label treatment process performed after label application is also disclosed. The treatment process reduces the occurrence of label defects and improves label retention, adherence and aesthetics. The treatment process includes heating an applied label and adhesive to a particular temperature.Type: ApplicationFiled: July 27, 2010Publication date: May 17, 2012Applicant: Avery Dennison CorporationInventors: James P.
