  • Patent number: 4711595
Abstract: A dismountable structure comprising at least one structural part having a female socket provided with at least one transversely extending first hole and at least one structural part having a male socket provided with at least one transversely extending second hole. The sockets are so sized and shaped that each male socket is receivable in each female socket in a locking position in which at least one second hole is aligned with at least one first hole. The structure including fastening means having at least one resiliently displaceable locking element for interlocking one female socket and one male socket, when they are in the locking position, by at least one locking element extending from inside the male socket through the aligned holes of the two sockets.

  • Patent number: 4666121
Abstract: The spring-tilt mechanism comprises a support frame (4), a seat portion (1) tiltable on the support frame (4) about a substantially horizontal axis (2) between a first and a second position, e.g. defined by stops (13, 13'). One end (15') of a torsion spring (15) is fixed against rotation in the support frame (4). A gear box (16) is operatively engaged with the other end (15") of the torsion spring (15) and has an extendible member (24) engageable with a tracking surface (31) of the seat portion (1). An operating member (29) on the gear box (17) is easily accessible to a user sitting on the seat portion (1) to pre-load the torsion spring (15) for cushioning the user on the seat portion (1) between the said first and second positions (stops 13, 13').

  • Patent number: 4640642
Abstract: The connector comprises a first element having one end provided with a single first eye, a second element having one end provided with two coaxial second eyes axially spaced to receive between them the single eye, and a pivot pin insertable through all the three eyes, when the latter are coaxially aligned, to thereby join the two elements together. The pivot pin consists of two parts insertable through the eyes. Each part has a first end provided with a first engagement means and an opposite second end provided with a resilient second engagement means, and each second eye has at its axially outer side a third engagement means, whereby on full insertion of the parts through the eyes the parts and the second eyes are interlocked by the engagement means.
