  • Patent number: 7806778
Abstract: The invention relates to a putter head for a golf putter and to a golf putter that includes the putter head and a putter shaft secured to the putter head. The putter head includes a first head part, that defines the striking face of the putter, and a second head part that is located operatively rearwardly of the first head part and that is displaceable on guide rods with respect to the first head part along a line extending substantially perpendicularly to the striking face defined by the first head part. Securing screws displaceable within the second head part can engage the respective guide rods for securing the location of the head parts with respect to one another. A shaft securing formation is associated with the first head part and permits securing of a putter shaft to the putter head in different angular configurations with respect thereto.

  • Publication number: 20100041489
Abstract: An iron type golf head 10 comprises a body 12, the front side thereof defining a striking face and a socket formation 20. The body has a perimeter body portion 22 extending rearwardly from a body part of the body, that defines the ball striking face, thus defining a rear cavity 24 on the rear side of the body 12. The perimeter body portion 22 has a flange 26 projecting operatively upwardly from a sole side 28 of the perimeter body portion 22 thus defining an undercut 30 between the flange 26 and the opposing body part. The body 12 has a bridge formation 32 extending across the undercut between the flange and the opposing body part thereby providing a material concentration behind the sweet spot of the striking face providing for enhanced striking characteristics.

  • Publication number: 20090177480
Abstract: A system and method are used to identify a targeted consumer. The system includes a partial social security number (SSN) system that identifies a partial SSN issued during a preselected time period and a marketing database system. The marketing database system receives a comparison result from a SSN matching system that identifies at least one individual in a consumer database having a partial SSN that matches the partial SSN identified by the partial SSN system. The marketing database system places identifying information of the at least one individual in a marketing database. In one method, an individual is identified as a targeted consumer based on the individual's age being within a preselected age range and the individual's social security number being issued within a predetermined social security number SSN issue date range. Identifying information of the targeted consumer is stored in a contact database, which a business may use to directly market its goods or services.

  • Patent number: 7306459
Abstract: A method of filling a dental root canal is disclosed herein. The method includes gaining access to the dental root canal and introducing a flowable photosensitizer into the dental root canal. After introducing the flowable photosensitizer into the dental root operation is performed for activating the flowable photosensitizer by exposing the walls of the dental root canal to light via an optical fiber within the dental root canal. Activating the flowable photosensitizer at least partially kills bacteria within the dental root canal and pulp chamber. After activating the flowable photosensitizer, the dental root canal is obturated.

  • Publication number: 20070105479
Abstract: A toy vehicle comprises a lift mechanism which allows the toy vehicle to be lifted from a support surface in a lifting motion and roll end over end over end. The lift mechanism includes a lift arm pivotally mounted to a housing of the toy vehicle. A lift arm actuating motor is coupled to a lift arm drive screw that is in threaded engagement with a lift arm drive nut. A strut is coupled between the drive nut and the lift arm. In operation, the lift arm actuating motor drives the lift arm drive screw and causes the lift arm drive nut to drive the strut and move the lift arm into an extended position, causing the lift arm to engage a support surface to lift the toy vehicle. In the extended position, the toy vehicle is sufficiently rounded to permit the vehicle to roll end over end over end.

  • Publication number: 20070079731
Abstract: Provided herein are catalysts useful in the curing of cementitious mixtures, which catalysts comprise one or more alkylene carbonates in combination with glycerin carbonate. Through use of a catalyst according to the present invention, cementitious mixtures containing sodium silicate may be cured at low temperatures because the catalysts of the invention function well at low temperatures, even though they contain ethylene carbonate, a material whose melting point of 36° C. otherwise precludes its use as a cure accelerant for silicates. FIG. 1 is a graphical representation of the results shown in Table II.

  • Patent number: 7062850
Abstract: A method of forming an electrical conductor, comprising forming electrically conductive segments incorporating electromigration-inhibiting plugs. A row of windows is formed in a planar surface and electromigraation-inhibiting material is deposited over the planar surface and into the windows to provide electromigration-inhibiting plugs in the windows. The plugs may be formed by depositing an electromigration-inhibiting liner in the windows and then depositing electrically conductive material to fill the windows. Portions of either or both of the plugs and conductive segments are removed such that the plugs and conductive segments have a coplanar surface. The plugs may be formed in windows in an electrically conductive layer defining the conductive segments. Embodiments of the method may be employed in manufacture of integrated circuit conductor.
