The ironing board (1) also has a base (7) for supporting the ironing board (1) on a surface and adjustment means (9) which permits the position of the support structure (5) relative to the base (7) to be adjusted to enable the height of the board member (3) to be adjusted relative to the surface. The base (7) may have a first leg (42) formed by a pair of substantially parallel elongate tubes (40) and a second leg (46) formed by a single elongate member (46) which is pivotally connected to the adjustment means (9). The board member (3) may be made from two sections (11, 13) that are pivotally connected to one another to permit the board member (3) to be folded.

The body 3 also has a means for modifying the flow of fluid through selected regions of the surface 5. The means for modifying the flow of fluid may be one or more fans which are capable of sucking fluid from the body interior or blowing fluid into the body interior. The permeable surface may be a steel mesh surface with holes of different cross-sectional area.

Abstract: A container having a body which defines a volume for storing a liquid. The body has a sidewall and the container also has a cover arranged to be mounted to the body. The sidewall and the cover are arranged such that, when the cover is mounted to the body, a space is defined between the cover and the sidewall in which an article may be stored. The container may be a bottle made from plastics material and the cover may be pivotally attached to the body so that it can be moved from a first position in which access to the space is permitted to a second position in which access to the space is restricted. The article may be a cleaning tool.

Abstract: A resilient strap, having each end gradually turned back on itself, forming U-shaped ends, is provided with a concave bend in the lateral surface of the strap between the U-shaped ends. A handle element having an oblong-like opening is secured to the opposed convex surface of the strap. In use, the U-shaped hook-like ends secure portions of the opposed rims of a container such as a metal can, thereby providing a clamping handle attachment for the container.
