Publication number: 20230358515Abstract: A method of manufacturing a casing for an ammunition cartridge includes injection molding a polymer forming the casing using an injection mold. The casing is cylindrically shaped along a longitudinal axis extending from a base to a distal end with a blind hole formed therein. The blind hole has a primer retention feature disposed at the base and leads into a flash hole. An insulator and/or reflector is placed around at least a portion of the casing separating the base from the neck. A heater directly heats the neck of the casing while not directly heating the base. A stretch rod is inserted into the blind hole stretching the neck. The casing is inserted into a blow mold and pressurized causing the neck of the casing to be blow molded. At least a portion of the distal end of the casing is removed.Type: ApplicationFiled: May 5, 2023Publication date: November 9, 2023Inventor: John Cogger

Patent number: 7207799Abstract: Dental prosthesis support apparatus includes a plurality of dental implants having self-tapping threads on a lower portion thereof for seating in a jawbone and an upper portion for enabling engagement therewith. An armature is provided having sufficient flexibility to be aligned with the jawbone and engaged along the upper portions of each of the plurality of dental implants seated in the jawbone. The armature is formed from a material enabling subsequent rigidization. The method includes installing a plurality of dental implants into a jawbone in a spaced apart relationship and thereafter removably disposing an armature onto each of the plurality of dental implants and aligning the armature with the jawbone. The armature is removed and rigidized to the jawbone alignment and thereafter affixed onto each of the implants.Type: GrantFiled: June 29, 2004Date of Patent: April 24, 2007Assignee: Instabar Technologies, LLCInventors: Keith S. Patent number: 7100797Abstract: A device for dispensing pills one at a time or one dose at a time includes a unit chamber fittable within/integral with the rim of a bottle. The unit chamber includes a plurality of radial projections which project inwardly to define discrete pill holding areas. The distance between adjacent radial projections is slightly larger than the width of the pill sought to be contained and dispensed by the container. As the bottle is inverted, pills will fall into the pill holding areas, one pill or dosage amount per area. A dispensing cap is rotatable relative to the unit chamber. A single pill-width window in the cap is positionable opposite the pill holding areas of the unit chamber. When a pill is meant to be dispensed, the bottle is inverted or angled downward, and a single pill in the pill holding area opposite the window falls out of the bottle.Type: GrantFiled: July 8, 2004Date of Patent: September 5, 2006Assignee: Talisman Technologies, LLCInventors: Shaan Kahn, Matthew Curtin, John Cogger, Charles R. Kalina, Jr.

Patent number: 6859783Abstract: A system and method for opening and tracking trouble tickets over the public Internet. A customer service management system provides information included within a customer profile record to a Web enabled infrastructure which is accessible by a remote customer workstation having a web browser and Internet access. The customer profile information is used to prepopulate data fields in dialogs used to open a trouble ticket. Once a trouble ticket is opened, the customer workstation tracks the existing trouble tickets through a browser based graphical user interface. The graphical user interface provides current and historical status reports of the actions taken to resolve a network event and the service organizations responsible for resolving the network event.Type: GrantFiled: September 24, 1998Date of Patent: February 22, 2005Assignee: WorldCom, Inc.Inventors: Timothy John Cogger, Isaac A. Kunkel, III, David Todd Miller, Suma P. Patil

Patent number: 5934500Abstract: Container closure apparatus including a rigid container having an open end with a top edge along a collapsible container disposed within the rigid container and having an open end. A cap is provided for covering the rigid and flexible container open ends and a plug seal providing a primary seal between the rigid container and the flexible container. The plug seal includes, in combination, a peripheral outwardly extending wall portion on the flexible container and a depending portion, extending from the cap, for pressing the wall portion against an inside wall of the rigid container. An annular node formed into the flexible container wall provides concentrate sealing pressure between the cap depending portion, the wall portion and the inside wall of the rigid container. A gasket seal provides a secondary seal between the rigid container and the flexible container.Type: GrantFiled: February 17, 1998Date of Patent: August 10, 1999Assignee: AllerganInventors: John Cogger, Patrick O. diGiovanni
