  • Patent number: 8469414
Abstract: This invention relates to a cylindrical lock assembly and the combination of the cylindrical lock assembly and bolt assembly. The lock assembly includes a chassis housing an actuator that is rotatable about an axis xx to move a shuttle relative to the chassis. The shuttle operatively engages the bolt assembly to retract the latch bolt. The lock set also includes outer furniture which is adjustable in its position relative to the shuttle to accommodate doors of a range of thickness.

Assignee: ASSA ABLOY Australia Pty Limited
    Inventor: John Constantinou
  • Patent number: 7752875
Abstract: A lock for use as a multipoint lock, the lock having: a lock body, a lock tongue which is moveable between a locking position and a free position, an actuator to move the lock tongue, a deadlocking member in the lock body and which is moveable between a deadlocking position to deadlock the lock tongue and an undeadlocking position, and, attachment means attachable to a remote lock operator to move the operator without any lost motion.

  • Patent number: 6487884
Abstract: An electrically controlled lock (10), including a retractable latchbolt and a clutch mechanism disposed between a latchbolt retracting mechanism for retracting the latchbolt and a drive member (11) for driving the latchbolt retracting mechanism. The clutch mechanism includes a pair of engageable bodies (18, 22) which are relatively movable between an engaged condition in which drive of the drive member (11) is transmitted to the latchbolt retracting mechanism for retracting the latchbolt, and a disengaged condition in which transmission of drive between the drive member (11) and the latchbolt retracting mechanism is interrupted so as to prevent retraction of the latchbolt. The relative movement of the engageable bodies (18, 22) occurring as a result of engagement of at least one of the bodies with an actuating member (32) which is controlled by an electrical actuator (31).
