  • Publication number: 20080065157
Abstract: The present invention is directed to a suture locking device comprising a longitudinal retaining member having first and second ends; a support member having first and second recesses that are diametrically opposite to each other and have center points that are coaxial, where the first and second ends of the retaining member are releasably positioned within the first and second recesses of the support member. Alternatively, the suture locking device comprises a longitudinal retaining member having first and second ends; a support member having first and second recesses are diametrically opposite to each other and have center points that are coaxial, where the support member is releasably secured to hold the first and second ends of the retaining member within its first and second recesses.

  • Publication number: 20080039856
Abstract: A remotely-activated injection device for use in vertebroplasty is provided to inject a flourescent probe material into a patient. The injection device includes a pump defining an injection chamber having an exit opening; an actuator; and a cable having a first end coupled to the actuator, and a second end remotely engaging the pump. The actuator remotely controls the pump by responsive movement of the cable to thereby cause injection of a flourescent probe material from the injection chamber of the pump through the exit opening to the patient.
