Abstract: Embodiments of the invention provide for identifying candidates for an open position. More specifically, embodiments provide for matching, comparing and sorting candidates based on skill set, job title, education, and/or other attributes described in a candidate profile with a requisition in a recruiting application. Embodiments of the present invention can build candidate pools for current or future openings without manual intervention. Embodiments can segment candidate profiles, e.g., which can be built from collected resumes, based on skill set, education, job title match, and/or other criteria. Matches can be found between these profiles and a set of requirements for a position based on one or more searches including but not limited to a keyword search, a synonym replacement search, a distance matching search, etc. Results of these searches can be weighted and combined into an ordered candidate list or pipeline presented to the recruiter or other user for review.

Abstract: The present development is a kit and a method for easily determining the presence of lead on a surface. The kit provides a rhodizonate salt and an aqueous acid mixed together in a container that can deliver a liquid product as a fine particle spray. In a preferred embodiment, the rhodizonate salt is sodium rhodizonate and the aqueous acid is aqueous acetic acid. The method includes mixing sodium rhodizonate and aqueous acetic acid and then delivering it to a surface as a fine particle spray, and monitoring any change of color on the treated surface.

Abstract: A fuel-based consumer reward and loyalty space system and method in which a consumer can earn points towards a reward card with a predetermined dollar balance to be used to purchase fuel at the gasoline brand of their choice. The merchant can set up predetermined categories, or no categories at all, in which to allow a consumer frequenting the merchant to earn loyalty points. The consumer uses a loyalty token at the register to identify themselves and earn points upon purchasing products, with the point value set by the merchant. The points earned from each purchase are added to the consumer's account, stored in a database. Points are aggregated in the consumer's account across all participating merchants. Once the consumer's points reach a predetermined amount, such as 2,550 points, the consumer is automatically awarded a reward card with a predetermined reward amount added to the card.

The system and method provide for executing a command as part of the execution of an application program, where execution of the command causes the transfer of the document between a processing device in a computer system and a peripheral device. The present invention also provides for transferring the document data between the processing device and the peripheral device in response to the command. The present invention further provides for archiving the document data in a memory in the computer system in response to the command and transparently to the execution of the application program.
